They don't have connection with the hotels and the receptionist told that I don't accept booking from this website and it is fake booking

I booked the hotel and I when I visited the property the receptionist told me that it is a fake booking and I had to get out from there and I paste trouble finding another hotel for stay I was already very much tired after travelling so much and the hotels.com services not all good I faced a lot of issues in finding new hotel and the service of hotels.com is very poor as they don't have direct connection with the hotel and they don't except bookings from hotels.com
