The only negative was that there wasn’t a staff member on duty 24/7. They would all leave at 10 pm. Also wish restaurant and bar would stay open a bit later or there should be a kiosk where you could get water, drinks, snacks etc.

The bed was very very comfortable. The shower pressure was excellent. The room was stylish. The drapes shut out the outside. The room felt like my own perfect private space. It's very centrally located which is great but you can also sometimes hear late night revelers. I would stay here again and again and I'm picky.

I absolutely loved my time in Antwerp, and largely because I really lucked out finding this gem. Everyone at the hotel was so kind, the room was beautiful, well appointed, clean, and situated right across the square from the beautiful gothic cathedral. Waking up to that sight each morning was a real treat. Hope to be back one day!

I absolutely loved my time in Antwerp, and largely because I really lucked out finding this gem. Everyone at the hotel was so kind, the room was beautiful, well appointed, clean, and situated right across the square from the beautiful gothic cathedral. Waking up to that sight each morning was a real treat. Hope to be back one day!

A gem of a hotel. Staff were super friendly and helpful, the room was spotless - and it had such character in the way it was decorated! Stepping out of the hotel to see the beauty of the cathedral right in front of you was a great bonus too.

I booked this hotel because it said it had a 24 hour reception as i knew I was arriving late. I called the hotel at 8pm just to be sure and a person that barely spoke English, French or German told me that the recption closed at 2200 CET. I managed to convince this person to deposit the key in an envelope and give me a code for the door. When I got there, the corridor was very messy and I found the letter in a pack of post.
The hotel is located in the middle of the pedastrian zone and even taxis can't get closer than 300m.

Arrived early and reception kindly held out cases. This was our only staff interaction.
Located centrally. Good rooms - well apportioned. Atmosphere and views were authentic and enjoyable.

I was hoping for a room with a Rubens, good room though! Wished the shower had a door to keep the rain shower head from getting water everywhere (square shower with a half glass opening)

The hotel is in the old sector. We had a spectacular view of the cathedral. It’s on the old square. Unfortunately it is quite noisy when in the room. Not a problem through the day, but it continues late into the evening. The worst part of our stay were the garbage trucks coming and going throughout the night starting at 1am right through to sunrise. This was early Tuesday morning.
The hotel itself is very nice.

The staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The area is close to everything and convenient. The standard room I booked is directly above a fish restaurant. The smell in the room was unbearable. I asked to move and had to pay more for another room. There was an air freshener in that room that was extremely strong. I had to place it in a sealed bag. I understand the hotel is in a historic area and old but I felt like I was staying at a hostel. Would not stay there again.
