this is now one of my favourite places to stay.
all the staff are well trained and responsive. i recommend upgrading to the gold floor, very worth it
facilities are fantastic. great restaurant, great bar, great gym.
you can walk to your check in in the terminal. you can also eat at kiosks in the terminal if you want.
all that, plus stunning views and you get to watch planes take off every few minutes.

I had an overnight delay in my flight in Vancouver airport, the convenience of having the hotel right there was wonderful. The staff made the stay very enjoyable. I was able to bump my flight to a later time and enjoyed the amenities. The gym, pool, hot tub and sauna were lovely and a very much needed recharge.

Have stayed at this hotel numerous times over the past 20 years. This trip air conditioning didn’t work properly in the room so very uncomfortable and then to top it off the shower head wouldn’t stop dripping so had a very uncomfortable night. Told front desk in the morning when checking out and wanted to give me a coffee to go. Not really acceptable as was exhausted from the lack of sleep.

The overall hotel is amazing.
Our room was so fabulous!
Overlooking the departure gates and soundproof! You could barely hear the planes coming and going.
The cleanliness of the room was spot on. I only wish that I had of had the me to experience the deep, deep bathtub.
The king size bed was so comfortable.
We had dinner in the lounge and although a bit pricey it was 100% worth it.
Our flight left at 6:20 am which warranted us being at the check in gate two hours prior to flight time. With the hotel being steps from the counter we were able to sleep in and still be there early, early.
I would definitely recommend this hotel of you have an early flight out of YVR.

Caveat: You probably won’t hear planes outside but beware this place is not soundproof between rooms. I was awakened at 5am by screaming kids in an adjacent room. It went on for 2 hours. I am sure they were excited and yes that parents should have calmed them down. But it certainly affected my stay.
