Knights Inn Huntsville, ON

The property was very clean with new interiors and free continental breakfast. Location is excellent in Huntsville downtown and few minutes to Hunters bay trail and Lions Lookout.

⭐ Manage your expectations — it’s not terrible, but not great. I stayed here for two weeks on a work assignment, paying over $2,000. The room appeared clean on entry, but issues quickly added up. Bedding & Comfort Pillows gave off that familiar old-bedding smell of scalp and sweat, and were flat “pancakes.” Duvet edges were stained greyish-black, as if never replaced. Bedding was only changed a week in, after I stripped it myself and left it by the door. Curtains had holes, and the air felt damp and heavy without the unit running. No outdoor lighting for units and the passing train made restful sleep difficult. Housekeeping & Maintenance Housekeeping only came when my car wasn’t in the lot, so basics like toilet paper were often missed. Fruit flies appeared around the vanity sink. The coffee maker didn’t work — it still had a stale packet from a previous guest, and the “complimentary” package was already opened. Facilities & Environment The TV had very limited channels and no pay-per-view. The window screen was popped out, making it unsafe to leave open. Smoking is allowed outside, but balconies aren’t divided, so an overflowing pail of cigarette butts sits as décor. Butts were also scattered in the lot. Final Note This is a basic roadside motel, so I knew to expect door-to-outside access. But for the price paid, the lack of upkeep, dampness, and disregard for simple basics dragged the stay down. Manage your expectations — not terrible, not great.

Lacking maintenance, crumbling concrete, top floor stairs don't look secure, secure latch broken off door, no drain plug for bathing, rust forming in washroom, mattress is 100 years old , spiders in room, dirty wall plats, .........

Tout etait très bien, accueil, chambre, petit déjeuner sauf que nous avins trouvé des cheveux et des traces de maquillage dans le lit, vraiment dommage car autrement cela aurait été 5 sur 5

We have stayed there a few times. No issue at all. Some minor things like completing dry wall repairs would increase the appeal of the rooms. Will stay there again.

Staff was very friendly, everything was clean. Overall great stay!

We arrived Monday September 1 at approximately 3:33 Pm and were greeted by a very pleasant young lady who gave us our pass card for the room. The Knights Inn was booked solid and our stay was very quiet and pleasant. Our only complaint would be the lack of ice in the ice machine. We went for ice several times during our stay and the only time we got ice was on the day we were leaving in the morning. We have stayed there before and would go back again.

No complaints other than my jacuzzi room was ground level and had blinds instead of curtains. I went outside and could see through the gaos between the blinds. Never used the jacuzzi as I didnt want anyone peeking through the blinds.

Floors, coffee machine and AC unit were dirty. Bed was unfomfortable and "lumpy". As seniors with arthritis we were told that our reserved king bed room on ground floor had been "given away" and the upper floor was only available. We managed to climb the dozen exterior stairs with luggage but it was difficult for us.

Very quiet and nice property not far from downtown. Room is nice and staff cleaned daily. Enough parking but it is tight fit when busy weekend and larger vehicles. Pet friendly but charge $15 fee/night(asked $17 if paid by card or $15 with cash (questioned and paid $15) and $50 if not advised before check in). All good stay overall

Tired decor but clean. Poor sound proofing. The bed was very squeaky and uncomfortable. I would not recommend after paying $250 night.

There was no towel rail in the bathroom, black mold in the bathroom window, the room had an overpowering smell of mint, we had to open doors and windows to get the smell out, it was causing headaches

The place was clean and the manager very helpful ,also the bed quite comfortable

Excellent Breakfast area. Staff very Friendly. Looked like they were fully booked. There is a reason... Great Value !
