Despite a mixup of pictures and room descriptions the manager of the hotel honored the reservation. We were able to sort this out so others would not have the problem. The view is outstanding and the staff really wants your visit to be enjoyable.

it was very clean property i loved it the interior inside the room and outside it was very clean and professional staff, room, bathrooms was very clean bed sheet, bed was comfortable, property is very beautiful and clean, from room balcony amazing view, breakfast was amezing tasty rice and beans as i am vegetarian had good choice of breakfast staff was very friendly, pool was clean and beautifully decorated. will go there again. very close to places.

The grounds were beautiful, we loved the pool and the view of the volcano. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The staff was helpful and knd. We enjoyed the breakfast.

The people managing this property are very nice, eager to help. Breakfast was good,served hot at your table. It had fresh fruits, toasted bread with jam, gallo pinto, fried plantain and a slice of tomatoes. Sometimes there was Avacado and cheese too. I saw scrambled eggs too. Not sure if any other non vegetarian items were there. Hotel has pool with beautiful views of volcano and also a small hanging bridge. But the room we stayed in (villa) had issues. When we checked in, I noticed water on the kitchen counter and a pot next to it with some water in it. I didn’t paid attention and cleaned the water and put the pot away and instead out my stuff there. And left for dinner. Later when we came back, I realized that Kitchen roof was leaking a bit that side and there was water all over my stuff. Luckily everything was in ziplock so no loss. But a heads up at check in Or a note would have been nice. Kitchen and bathroom were decent size so I would not have used that space if I knew. Stove in kitchen looked ancient so I didn’t even attempt to use it. There was blender and microwave and full size fridge that we used. Another issue was that bathroom has no hooks, not even to hang your hand towel. Room has only one power outlet that I could see. So mostly we used outlets in kitchen to charge phones. there was no place to hang towels to dry so you have to call them to get replacements. No iron or hairdryer in the room. location of the hotel is very good but rooms need updating.

Joli endroit dans la nature au calme, proche de La fortuna sans être avec tous les touristes. L'espace piscine est joli avec vue sur le volcan! Les lodge sont bien, les nuits sont calme et l'accueil était charmant, bon petit déjeuner chaque matin! n'hésitez pas !

We were very disappointed in the Confort Arenal. It’s is old and need to be updated. The mattresses on the beds are old and need to be replaced. The pots and pans are old and the Teflon is scratched a lot. There was 1 large knife to cut with that was so dull we couldn’t use it. The breakfast is poor. They should at least toast the bread. You do not get warm water in the bathroom sink or the kitchen sink. We asked for a stopper for the kitchen sink and did not get one that worked. We were told to wash our dishes with the cold water running. They give you the worst toilet paper possible. The owners/managers are obviously super cheap and that’s not right when people are paying good money to stay there. Do not stay there!

The staff including Antony and Johanna were magnificent, they were helpful and accommodating… the breakfasts, coffee, and animal guests on the property were so lovely, I would not hesitate to book again. Was super pleased to stay here and would do it again in a heartbeat.

Confort Arenal is really confort . Owner of hotel are very nice, very helpful, homemade breakfast is very delicious.

Confort Arenal was beautiful! The property has an amazing view of the Arenal Volcano. Staff is friendly. The traditional Costa Rican breakfast is delicious and served on a patio with a view of a small tropical jungle full of monkeys who are out eating between 6am and 8am. There are also many interesting birds on the property including turkeys and crested guan. The rooms are minimalist, but comfortable. Warm shower. Great lunch or dinner and ice cream across the street at Soda la Palma. Many activities nearby. Awesome food options and nightlife in Fortuna.

This property was good for the price. You got a beautiful vieuw of the Arenal volcano. They got a pool, beautiful nature, they even got a hanging bridge. Free breakfast was good. The room had airconditioning and was very welcoming. Although the room was not very sealed we got lizard and worms that came in our room. That was a bit disturbing but other than that it was a good stay for our 1 night stay.

The hotel rooms were large and clean. There was a nice seating area outside of the room. The rooms were basic but comfortable. The refrigerator worked and was nice to have. It has a beautiful pool area rhat is well maintained. The breakfast in the morning is filling. The staff was willing to make accommodations for my daughter's food allergies.

We had an okay stay. It was convenient and comfortable enough for a couple nights. There is no housekeeping unless you ask.
