Caboose

Had a lovely stay in Salisbury, our room at Caboose was very comfortable , excellent location for exploring the City. Caboose is a very quirky place but more a B & B than Hotel as the Bar area wasn't open and the Website led us to believe it was, which was a bit disappointing. Just a suggestion that its should be made clear that this is the case. Would recommend as a base , breakfast was acceptable.

Really handy for the railway station. Very friendly welcome. Large comfy room , lovely toiletries in the bathroom. Great breakfast

First of all, I am a very savvy traveler who has been to over 40 countries in the past five years and stayed in every type of accommodation from hostels to five star hotels andfrom the moment I walked in, I knew I was gonna love this place The ambience was amazing Then, when it came to service from the staff, the comfort of the rooms, and the amazing free breakfast every morning It was head and shoulders above most four and five star accommodation I have stayed at thank you for a wonderful day and if I am ever back in this area, you can be sure I will be staying with you

Very modern, clean and spacious room above a quirky parlour bar. Parking available at the station which is more or less next door. 10 mins walk to the city centre.

Beautiful, elegant treasure right around the corner from the train station and near bus stops. Easy walk to Salisbury Cathedral and Museum. Excellent breakfast! Delicious Nepalese restaurant a few doors to the left. Lovely pub where you can safely leave your luggage and have a beer and eat pub food. Stonehenge a bus ride away!

I love everything in here. Especially their decoration, I felt relax when I was in caboose

The decor was so fun, loved the character it brought. Staff was so friendly and accommodating. Very convenient location to train station, cathedral, city center and the gorgeous park

The hotel is right in few steps from train station, they also offered baggage storage after check out. It bring us more convenience while traveling in town. The room displayed same as the photo provided. However, our room face the train track, you can hear the train approaching but it’s not bothered me. Hotel offer earplug in the room.

The B&B was great and staff were very friendly. They own a restaurant up the street and we were able to store luggage there before and after our stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I was a bit worried about the noise, being so close to the railroad, but I hardly noticed it; I didn't even use the free ear plugs provided by the hotel. The Lobby and breakfast area was very fun and eclectic and the breakfast was great.

Wish parking was an option, but easy walk for train station car park. Great Breakfast!

Very nice room with air conditioning and a French press coffee maker. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful as well

Excellent accomodation at very reasonable price in heart of Salisbury. Room and bathroom thoughtfully fitted out. Superb shower and bathroom. Air conditioning unit. Very clean. Very friendly staff. Travelling alone but would be ideal for couples too.

Quirky place, friendly staff. When we got there was given homemade cookies which tasted amazing. Staff were amazing ,lovely room with tea and coffee making in room. Lovely touch was ear plugs provided as close Train Station which didn't really hear to be honest. Fantastic stay would stay here again

Quick and easy check in. Owner is very friendly. Room is clean and tidy.

The hotel is about two minutes walk from the train station which, due to the nature of my family related stay, really did help. The room was not huge, but just about spacious enough for a short stay. The bed was really comfortable, loved it! The carpet was beautifully soft underfoot. The overall decor was pleasant with some tasteful pictures.There was also nice toiletries included with a Brucie Bonus of complimentary chocolate cookies. The rainfall hose of the shower didn't have great pressure or heat. However, there was a separate hose a bit lower down on the riser rail, so I was able use this hose for showering and that was fine. The TV worked well and no signal issues to contend with, thankfully. There was no view at all from the window due to the adjacent buildings, but obviously this can't be helped. The man who greeted me when I arrived was prefectly friendly as was the lady who assisted me for breakfast. The breakfast was tasty although not the biggest selection of food and I would've preferred my scramled eggs already on toast rather than having to cook the toast separately. The room where the breakfast was served was classy and elegant. It was a shame this room was not open for drinks in the evening (there is a bar there). Overall I enjoyed my stay and would recommended it. The one caveat is that due to the narrow stairs and absence of lift (no way could one be installed), the property would not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues.
