Overall experience was great, bed sheets while clean didn't feel fresh, also it would be great if they could leave at least one small water bottle for customers.

Tired bedrooms which needed a good clean.

We booked an accessible room for my wife who is in a wheelchair. The room was the least accessible room I've stayed in. Very cramped around the doorway leaving very little room to manoeuvre. Price was extraordinary considering the room quality. The room was tatty I would say is the best word. The bed was not very comfortable either. Bathroom was not too bad in terms of accessibility but I would certainly not recommend it.

Staff were really friendly and helpful. Had a good laugh which was nice. We didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on that. We had an accessibility room which was nice but would have preferred non slip mats in the room without having to go get them. Other than that it was honestly perfect. Will 100% be using again. The room had a lovely view of the river too. Highly recommend.

I had a nice room with a view over the water. Everything in the room was clean and working. Staff were helpful, friendly and courteous. Competitive rates, very convenient for the Excel. Good breakfast. This was a work trip and probably my third or forth stay here for events at the Excel.

Original room given to us had no heating working but we were kindly moved by staff to a new room which was much better. All pillows provided could do with replacing. None of them were in great condition nor did they provide a great night's sleep. Not a fan of the bathrooms The soap dispensers in the shower are all too high for sensible use - they should be lower down on the wall Also the bathroom door could have a better closure so that when you using it in the middle of the night you are not waking the other person in the room of closing and opening the door. Do not understand why proper U bends are not used in these bathrooms - smells coming up the basin plug hole is nasty

Staff were very helpful

Bedding was nice and clean. Room was not as it should be. Carpets in hallways need vacuuming. I got stuck in the faulty elevator with some other guests.

Good location, friendly staff and great view

A lovely hotel that give me energy💕 Clean and tidy room, I love the bed and pillows that is firm enough to support me for a very nice dream. Clean bathroom and the most important that is enough electrical plugs with USB which can help me charge different devices without worries. Will be back.
