Great Stay

We had 5 rooms booked for Friday for a family wedding. Check in is 2pm which is normal. But wedding started at 1pm!. I called Thursday to ask if 1 room could ready for us to change in. We checked in at 12pm & all 5 rooms were ready. Hotel staff are all great. Hotels clean comfortable & everything you want. Breakfast are good. Couldn't fault anything recommend to everyone

Arrived after a long overnight flight, reception staff were great and the check-in was fast. Nice to have the offer of luggage brought upstairs:-) Breakfast was yummy, view over the heath pleasant. I stay here when I can for these reasons and more - nice to have a traditional hotel still available!

A lovely hotel, tucked almost away from the hubbub of London city and centre, however, within easy access and more pleasantly, in a beautiful semi urban setting of Blackheath. The hotel is clean, can be confusing due to layout and especially checking in with a few other visitors doing so at the same time seemed confusing, with not finding the correct hallway or level for our designated room. However, the room was super comfortable, with all essential amenities, and a decent bathroom along. Breakfast at the hotel is superb, with excellent hot and cold options, plenty of choice and lovely coffee. Even though we attended during BH weekend, staff were absolutely brilliant and alsays greeted us proactively with smile and during busy breakfast still maintained an excellent and professional conduct. Thanks Team Clarendon, would love to return when visiting London again.

Love this hotel what a gem Great staff Friendly and helpful Reception staff are so lovely. Lovely breakfast and the waiting staff a big thanks. Good service does still exist.

A great place to stay. Very comfortable room and bed with a good, strong shower. Very quiet during the night. And... great breakfast in the morning with excellent service.

Lovely hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. Food was good and reasonably priced. Plenty of public transport nearby. I had a single room which was very spacious and a full size bathroom. Bed was comfortable. At breakfast there was plenty of choice from the hot and cold items which were self service. I walked to the Royal Observatory through the park. I will definitely stay here again when visiting London as this place is a greaf find.

Enjoyed 3 night stay in very nice room with 4 poster bed. Very clean, well decorated and comfortable. Ate in restaurant on 2 occassions food was excellent and reasonably priced. Breakfast buffet also excellent. All staff were helpful and friendly. 2 minor negatives, parking is limited and rooms are not airconditioned.

Could do with a refurbishment. Food is excellent staff were lovely and professional!

Very good place to stay and great breakfast would stay again

My grandfather lived at The Clarendon from late 1960s to mid-80s. It remains a well run & maintained establishment. A great joy to return & enjoy their cooked breakfast on a Sunday morning as much as he used to.

Lovely hotel with very warm friendly atmosphere …..fantastic service , great garden , lovely breakfast in very comfortable dining area

Overall a nice hotel and the breakfast deserves a special mention, as it was really good! The rooms left a little to be desired, the beds weren't the comfiest, the shower required running around to get wet and no A/C meant that it was rather sweaty.
