Was great location.

Pleasant hotel, great staff. Note that there is no elevator. Restaurant has good choices, buffet breakfast has hot and cold selections. Will stay again

Older, basic hotel. Not too many other options in area. Great restaurant with good pizza.

Functional room, great breakfast, nice staff, wonderful.

The room was so clean and lovely! The beds absolutely comfortable, and the staff were so kind and genuine. I felt very safe here, and enjoyed the beautiful complimentary breakfast they offered! Would happily stay here again!

I didn't like it as it's way too pricey for its quality.

An obliging receptionist arranged an early check in. Good buffet breakfast.The door lock was super difficult to use. Smart TV had no free channels.

We had a really great experience here and the best mattresses we've found by far. This is the 5th night in Iceland for us and the previous 4 hotels the mattresses were not good at all. This hotel was lovely in every respect. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The continental breakfast they offered was probably the nicest one I've ever had - anywhere. Good water, good tv, good location, nice hotel :-)

Fantastic hotel. Rooms were just what we needed. Great restaurant attached to the hotel. Very walkable surroundings. Would stay again.

Staff were excellent. Slightly dated feel but breakfast was great with many options and room was clean and functional.

Had a nice stay. Breakfast was nice. Room was simple and clean, had everything we needed. Short walk into town for dining options (also had restaurant on site)

Did not realise that the bar attached to the property was also a night club, it was a little too loud for our tastes. But the staff were very friendly, the breakfast was delicious and the rooms were very clean.

Reception—- staff not very helpful. Multiple steps with no ramp or elevator to get to the desk.. situated to the side of the hotel. Room— multiple steps with no elevator or helpful way to get to the room. Room— very cramped for 3 adults. In a lower level like half basement. Very spartan furnishing for the price charged ( 247 US$ ). Bathroom — sink was very small & cracked, it was partly being shadowed by the small very old fashioned glass shelf. The water stank of sulphur. The bathroom measured less than 3 feet in diameter & about 8 ft or so in length. No place to keep your toilet stuff. Horrible for the price charged, at best it did not merit over 50 $. Not over 2 star rating. Restaurant —- very poor food. Over 25$ for a small cup of soup with very poor taste. Breakfast — most items in bread section were clearly stale or day old or more. Never stay there again.

The room itself was adequate. The shower is a little slippery for older folks. Beds were comfortable and the double pillows were an added bonus. The main issue was the restaurant. It appeared that service in that restaurant differs depending on the color of one’s skin which was disappointing as it put a small damper on my mother’s dream trip.

Apartment is very nice.
