Stayed here for 3 nights, it was amazing and no complaints. I asked for honeymoon suites, they prepared some free animal characters, and also complimentary dessert. Food in the restaurant was good, lovely view and very nice customer service in general. I would definitely stay here again if I visit Samosir next time.

Our stay at Marianna Resort was a pleasure. It's located right on the shores of Lake Toba with beautiful views. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the facilities are complete, from the swimming pool and spa to water activities. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is varied and delicious, and the resort atmosphere is modern and serene. The price is a bit premium, but it's well worth the experience. Recommended for a vacation to Samosir.

Check in for our honeymoon at lake view bedroom. I think the room is quite the same as other types, but the view is very mesmerizing. I love the morning view. The staff near the restaurant is very helpful for taking good photos. Thank you and see you.

The Finest Hotel at Samosir A stay at the Marianna Samosir Hotel felt comfortable and classy. The breakfast buffet was delicious and the food was of high quality. The rooms were clean, with professionally maintained beds and bathrooms free of water stains, and the duvet and bedcover felt premium and clean. The room was spacious, cool, had blackout curtains, and four complimentary bottles of mineral water were provided. The swimming pool wasn't very deep but clean, though the shower area was a bit limited. The staff was responsive and friendly, making it perfect for a staycation, as there are plenty of fun activities on the hotel grounds. A small suggestion: since the island location makes access to tourist attractions somewhat remote and cars get dirty quickly, it would be perfect to include a free exterior cleaning service and a TV with Netflix or YouTube Premium, as is typical for a five-star hotel.

Pros: The hotel is very new and well-maintained. The hotel and rooms are clean. The breakfast is plentiful and varied. There's a nice dock on the lake. The view is beautiful. Cons: The pool rules are very strict regarding clothing worn while swimming, and the lifeguards are there to monitor and enforce them. The staff seemed to be pretending to be friendly, but some were not at all, especially those on the rooftop. Our room smelled like something between massage oil and hot oil.

I've booked Villa King. Frankly speaking, the view wasn't the best, because the villa mola is not directly towards the lake side. some north villa may be much better. Even lake view luxury rooms might be much better in view. The room was excellent. Equipments are new. One compliant is Resort's whatsapp chat is very poor. Difficult to get useful guidance. On the other hand, the receptionist are helpful with support of booking boat etc.
