Nest Hotel Kumamoto

Great!

Room rate was cheap but not worth it. First night found out aircon blowing hot air. Had to open the window for ventilation but then had to suffer the traffic noise. The spring bed mattress was uncomfortable and noisy. Next morning saw housekeeping left a pile of fresh towel and bedsheets etc on the carpet floor outside every room door. Second night the shower hose broke. Otherwise, the staff did try their best to converse with me using a translator app.

The location is the hotel is good.

Nest Hotel is conveniently located by the Sakura Machi Bus Station - a major transportation center, therefore there are many shopping and restaurant options. A major plus. Negative is the hotel is quite dated, room space very limited, very slow air conditioning, and very limited storage space in the room. The hotel is within walking distance of the Black Castle.

value for money.

The location was close to the bus station and clustered around a lot of other hotels. Close to shopping mall and street so plenty of restaurants and shops. The room itself was too small for our luggage. Additionally, it was quite dirty for a hotel. The curtain in the bathroom was MOLDY and the toilet was stained. There was housekeeping but they somehow didn’t clean the bathroom except refilling amenities. Honestly quite disappointing for a 3-star hotel. Overall, the location was nice but not very hygienic.

Simple and High cost performance !

Right next to the bus terminal so easy transportation access. Pretty close to Kumamoto castle. The room was a bit dirty and there was a little bit of mold in the bathroom, but not enough to hurt anyone. The whole hotel smelled like cigarette smoke. For the price, I’d say it was worth it.

Location is really good, hotel is located just beside a huge shopping mall and short distance from a major shopping & food street, staff is very friendly and helpful, mechanical parking is available and quite convenient. However, only the toilet is too small.

I booked a single room on the 3rd floor. It was one of the cheapest rooms going around that was not a dorm room or a capsule hotel. I was also only staying overnight, so it was adequate for my needs. The good: - Excellent location - near the castle, nightlife, restaurants and supermarkets - Nice and friendly staff - Cheap - You get a TV, robe, slippers, reliable wi-fi and toiletries The bad - The bathroom doesn’t seem clean. It smells of mold and it is visible on the tiles, sink and shower curtain. There is obvious ventilation issues with the steam being trapped in the bathroom. The whole third floor actually smells of mold with the laundries located there. If you are sensitive to mold, I would avoid it. - parking is only available for cars 155cm and under. I had a boxy hatchback from the rental company which didn’t fit. You will need to pay 1000 yen at the parking lot behind the hotel for overnight parking till 11am. After that it’s 100yen per half hour, so it’s still quite cheap. All in all, I would stay there again if only overnight. Anything a bit longer, I would stay somewhere else as the bathroom would be problematic for me.

-Staff attitude can be improved, not really helpful. -Room a bit small & not enough socket that clients have to use the socket inside the toilet. -Breakfast ok. Don't expect too much, just simple breakfast +Hotel situated near Castle, dinning and shopping area. Close to the bus terminal, get to the airport very convenient.

Convenient location in the center of the city. The room was clean, simple, and fit my needs since I had business meeting the next morning. Parking is around the corner and costs about 1300 Yen. Staff is limited in English and very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is basic with toast, coffee, rice, scrambled eggs, breakfast weiners, salad. Simple and filled you up for the morning. Great value and location.

Excellent. Even though I could hardly understand Japanese, all hotel staff did their best to help me. My room is clean with everything I need there.

this hotel has a great location! it's near tram station and also next to the sakuramachi bus station which easy to take a bus on one-day trip like takachiho. And this sakauramachi's very nice building with roof top garden. So it's excellent choice for stay in kumamoto.

普通のビジネスホテルって感じでした

宿泊施設としては普通。接客は良かった。朝食バイキングはイマイチ、ちょっと歩けば飲食店が色々あるので、他で済ませたほうが良いと思った。

値段が安かったので利用させて頂きましたが、設備も古く最低限揃っているホテルでした。
