Tokyu Stay Gotanda

Very convenient place and the room is comfortable. Each room has a laundry machine, it's the biggest reason I always stay at this hotel.

Very convenient location close to restaurants, malls and JR lines. Staff excellent and my room was spacious.

The front desk staff were so helpful and polite. I think the person that helped us is named A. Shimizu (female), I hope I got her name correct. She was very helpful and remembered us daily when left and retuned for the day.

Location was ideal. There is train entry (Asakusa line) directly infront of the station. Walking distance to the JR line stations. 7-11 is just 2 doors away and lots of eating options around the area. Washing machine and cooking available within the room. Will stay this hotel again.

Excellent hospitality. Complimentary tea/coffee station. Room layout is spacious with nice morning sun.

Great location near station, direct service to Narita airport. Near Meguro river beautiful Sakura. Staff were wonderful, guest interaction activities (take a photo of Sakura at meguro river and show to staff for souvenir!), special experience when Ono taught Hou to fold origami cherry blossom!

Tokyo Stay Gotanda was perfect for our 2 week stay in Tokyo! First of all, Gotanda station is a 3 minute walk making it super easy to get around by train. The peace and quiet is unmatched to other hotels. Tokyo Stay is so quiet that I never heard one other person outside our room during the 2 weeks we were there. I really loved that our room had a window that opened and allowing fresh air in. I'm not a fan of being trapped on a top floor with no outside air. The room was definetely a bit smaller than what I think US visitors are used to but that's normal for Tokyo hotels if you're on a budget. Staff were friendly and welcomed us back every evening. Overall, if you're looking for quiet, low cost and a convenient location to stay near Tokyo proper, Tokyo Stay Gotanda is perfect. I read that Gotanda Station gets risky at night, but I never saw anything unsavory. We even arrived at 1am the first night and felt totally safe. 10/10 would recommend for your first, or any visit!

Close to station, front desk was very pleasant and welcoming. There is coffee in the lobby as well as complimentary water or juice. The room is small but had a washer/dryer, small refrigerator, microwave and hot pot in the room. The surrounding area has a lot of shops and restaurants. Reasonable rate.

I stayed in two different types of rooms during my 11-day trip. Initially, I booked a larger room for two people for the first two nights. The room was a bit dated and quite noisy; I heard water running through the pipes and strange mechanical sounds at night, which impacted my sleep. For the remaining days, I stayed on my own. This room was better than the first, though the cleanliness was not spotless and could be improved. The staff members are generally helpful and the location is excellent.

Excellent location and very friendly staff. Hotel has everything I needed

This is a great hotel, conveniently located to public transport, good facilities and an in-room laundry and microwave - very convenient, details translated for ease of use and works well. The staff are excellent and very helpful to foreigners that don’t speak the language. For those folks that haven’t been to Japan, some of the surrounding areas can seem a little dodgy but are quite safe.
