Hotel Villa Covelo

It was a beautiful hotel walking distance to the beach!!

Hotel Villa Covelo was a solid choice, and a great value. It is close to many beaches, and the lovely historic Combarro, and was a convenient, comfortable stop for us on our Galician road trip. While it was not the most plush place we have stayed, everything was clean and the staff went above and beyond to be helpful and thoughtful. Would highly recommend as a good, budget-friendly option.

Stayed 4 nights at the Hotel Villa Covelo and loved it. Friendly and helpful staff, convenient and tasty food options and a fabulous, quiet location directly across the street from the coastline with a great walk/run path along the water and only a 10-15 minute drive to the charming city of Pontevedra & 30mins from Vigo airport. Will stay here again!

The location was lovely just over the road from a beautiful small quiet beach. Stayed at the hotel for an event in Pontevedra and it was the perfect spot only 10km out of town. The staff were superb - friendly, helpful and very efficient you couldn't ask for more. The rooms were spacious very clean and well maintained. We had a 2nd floor room at the front with large velux windows and great view over the bay. 1st floor rooms at the front have a balcony and if we went back would request / pay for the balcony. Rooms at the rear also have balconies but the view isn't that great. The pool was just being prepared for the season and wasn't open but again looked very well kept. The roof top terrace again had amazing views and was a real sun trap. Evening meals you have the option of bar meals or main restaurant and although limited choices it didn't disappoint. Would definitely stay again if we go back to the area.

This hotel is great! You must stay here if you are in the area. The staff is wonderful and the area is very cute! It's a nice break from the hustle and bustle of bigger Spanish cities like Vigo and Madrid. My experience here was excellent all the way around.

Incredibly helpful staff who helped us plan a fab tourism itinerary. Their local knowledge made our visit thoroughly enjoyable.

Check in was easy and friendly. Clean comfortable rooms. Pool. Restaurant and bar with good snacks and friendly service. Limited onsite parking but a second parking area very close by. Beach 2 minutes walk. We used the hotel as a base for exploring the greater area but thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

For the price not great.good location and easy access but in bad need of an overhaul. Looks pretty tired and unwelcoming. Room extremely basic though large. Compared very poorly to other hotels we stayed in in Spain. Certainly not worth the price.

Hotel was nice - basic enough. Very noisy - there was a family next door and we could hear every word.

We didnt spend a lot of time in the hotel but it was very noisy. A bit dated but clean and loads of space

We had a very enjoyable 6 nights at the Hotel Villa Covelo. All of the staff made us feel extremely welcome and helped us out with everything we needed. The bedrooms were spacious, very clean and the beds very comfortable. Its a small point but we did miss not having tea and coffee making facilities in our room.

Sauna. Swimming pool. Excellent restaurant. Balcony. All for €50. What more could you want. The only negative concerns the village not the hotel itself. Dogs barking constantly all night. Take earplugs.

Location was good. Walkable to the beach. Cambarro restaurants only 3 km away by car. Nice sitting area and pool. A little loud outside since it is next to a road. Room was clean. Wifi was strong. Staff was very friendly and helpful with any requests we had. Stay was comfortable. Air conditioning in the room could be improved and rooms could be modernized some. Hard to beat for the price, however.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. Did not like to hear my next door neighbor snoring for most of the night. Restaurant food and service was very good.

This was our second stay at the Covelo and as before, it was a fantastic experience. All the staff are very helpful, along with the with the reception staff who all spoke excellent English. The hotel was spotlessly clean - the breakfasts were brilliant ! Top marks for this hotel everytime!

Excellent for sleep 1 night if you're trough Galicia

Everything was fine at this hotel. We spent two nights there and we're happy with all issues. An absolute plus was easy and free off street parking. Without a car though, one would have a hard time getting around,due to the location.

Roof Terrace with view of River and Atlantic. Good food. Helpful staff. We enjoyed it.
