Great place to stay out of the bustle of Patong

Amazing stay! Got a free upgrade from pool access room to the presidential suite with a private pool. The suite was huge, spotless, and beautiful. Pool was a bit cold (wish temp could be adjusted). Room had a smart TV but no Netflix—front desk lent us a Chromecast for a $100 deposit, which was returned. Loved the hotel’s design, pools, and happy hour BOGO drinks (12–1 pm & 4–5 pm). Room service was excellent and breakfast was incredible. Wish I could’ve stayed longer—highly recommend!

I had a truly unforgettable vacation at Avista Hideaway in Phuket. From the moment I arrived, the experience exceeded my expectations. The property itself is absolutely stunning — perched on a hillside with breathtaking views, beautifully designed interiors, and a peaceful, luxurious atmosphere throughout. What really made the stay special, though, was the exceptional staff. Everyone I encountered was warm, professional, and went out of their way to make sure I felt welcomed and well taken care of. Whether it was the front desk, housekeeping, or restaurant team, the service was consistently top-notch. If you’re looking for a serene, upscale retreat in Phuket with incredible hospitality, I highly recommend Avista. I can’t wait to return!

We spent 5 nights at Avista Hideaway for our honeymoon, and it was truly the highlight of our entire trip. Upon arrival, we were delighted to receive a complimentary upgrade to a pool villa, which made our stay even more special. The staff were exceptionally warm and attentive, going above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. We were surprised with thoughtful touches like a delicious cake, chocolates, and beautiful complimentary decorations in our room. The villa itself was stunning—spacious, spotless, and perfectly maintained. The private pool was a true luxury and added so much to our experience. If it fits within your budget, I highly recommend booking a pool villa; it’s absolutely worth it. Dining at the resort was equally impressive, with several excellent on-site restaurants, including one with a Michelin star. Every meal we had was outstanding. Avista Hideaway created the perfect romantic and relaxing environment for our honeymoon. It was peaceful, seamless, and completely stress-free. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a luxurious getaway—it truly made our honeymoon unforgettable.

Great view and service

I would like to say we had an amazing time at Avista, all the staff was incredible from the guys at the front to the pool bar service, I will definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.

This is the 5th time staying here. Always enjoy. Relaxing location but not to far from the busy areas of Patong. Definitely will be coming back. Staff go out of their way to assist. Family friendly. Highly recommended resort.

Amazing property, staff and service! Not walkable to anywhere. Beware of the Taxi mafia that operates outside the hotel and can act rather threatening to tourists even with small children present !

Great experience

Swimming pools and food were great, the restaurants are 5 star. Unfortunately the pool bar didn't know how to make Bloody Mary and played awful music most time. Room was mouldy, not well maintained, air con made us sick, no ceiling fan option, showers are broken. Staff were kind and lovely, did their best. Lost item was not found, friend left gift on reception under our name and room number, also not found. Overall it's a really beautiful hotel, wish it was maintained well. The management kindly compensated us with a dinner. I do recommend it for short stay, we stayed 8 night was too long probably.

We were upgraded to a nice pool villa upon checking in. Excellent room, service, meals, view, location in Patong etc.

I was charged 2 times, i had paid for my stay and after i left yo charged me again !! I would like you to pay my credit card the doble charge that you did.

The hotel is on beautiful grounds and the staff are beyond helpful and friendly. The issue we had is that is so moist in the grounds that either you have to turn the A/C up really high (meaning it’s freezing in your room) or your floor becomes literally wet to walk on. They need a serious dehumidifier system installed. Otherwise a beautiful hotel.

She was so kind and welcoming throughout our entire stay.The front desk team were always helpful and attentive, and the housekeeping staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort throughout our stay. The resort’s landscape is stunning—lush greenery surrounds the property, offering serene views of the ocean and a peaceful atmosphere that made us feel far removed from the hustle and bustle of Patong, even though it's conveniently nearby. The complimentary shuttle service made it easy to enjoy both tranquility and the vibrant energy of the town. Breakfast was always a delight, with kind and attentive service each morning, greeted with warm and friendly smiles.We also appreciated the spacious, clean, and well-equipped gym, which was a great bonus for longer stays. Another highlight was having two renowned Phuket restaurants—Sizzle and Tambu—right on-site. We had some truly memorable meals without ever needing to leave the resort. Avista Hideaway was the perfect blend of relaxation, comfort, and convenience. It exceeded our expectations in every way, and we’re already looking forward to returning!

Everything was Amazing!! the place looks way better in person than in pictures. Although as we checked in our minibar was not clean (open things in the fridge) and the bathroom tub had hairs, which let us think the room was not finish cleaning, we reported to the front desk and there were calm about it. but overall the service, restaurants and else was great!

All the restaurants were incredible!! The staff were so nice and helpful with everything. The hotel made my first trip to Thailand unforgettable.
