My friends and I found this place to be exactly what we needed. It's perfect for a family or friends looking to hang out in D.C. Very clean rooms and knowledgeable employees. This is a hotel we will stay at again. Highly recommend.

This is our second stay at Coda on Half. We love the location and the front staff are always wonderful. The two bedroom was so spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. We will definitely stay again.

Very clean and nice. I would use the stay again if they can change the garage system for parking. To call everytime and waiting in the alley for someone to open up garage was not convenient at all. Otherwise it was great!!

The property itself was very clean and nice but it was kind of ridiculous that the parking costs so much, it’s exploitation. I didn’t even get true in n out “privileges”. It’s also insane that they want you to use your phone as a key to every door on property. They give you one physical key card and threaten to charge $50 if you lose it. The rooftop was nice, no free amenities like coffee or anything in the lobby. When I checked in one of the workers was kind of rude, and they never delivered towels to the room when requested, but upon checkout the other woman was nice. Overall, clean and safe building, good location, but they nickel and dime you for everything. Even the coffee is 39 cents/ounce. Also, the walls feel thin, we heard partying till 3 am.

I really enjoyed the property and it’s location. My only issues were the bed frame was squeaky and more importantly they only provide 1 physical room key. I used the app and gave me fellow traveler the physical key. When I returned the app had unlock options for the front door, elevator etc. but not the door to the unit. They didn’t have one at the front desk so I could only get in if my friend came with the key. This is why I give 4 stars.

OMG! They overbooked and kicked us out. It's the of July in DC. They "found" a place in the middle of nowhere, no metro (original place was 2 blocks from Metro). Getting to the new place was like an escape room experience (not in a good way), parking sucked, the "app" we had to download didn't work, the bed hard, the place really noisy (you could hear everyone). Total FAIL!!! Don't book with Placemakr!!!!!

Propertty over sold their reservations, which is absurd, and when we arrived from airport we were told we no longer had a 3-bedroom unit for our family.. We paid In full for this 3-bedroom unit 4 months in advance but were told they they couldn’t accommodate us any longer. How do you over so a property, do you not know how many rooms you have available to reserve at any given moment? Very unhappy with this property manager, and the way he mishandled our reservation.
