This property is in bad shape. The first room I was given had mold in the shower, in the sink caulking, and behind the multiple missing pieces of trim. The bed had sand and crumbs on it. The area behind the bed had not been cleaned in ages, with dog hair, dust, dead spiders, and cobwebs directly behind the bed. For this, I was charged $200 for the night. The hotel manager (I assumed) was a very nice man and was sincerely apologetic, putting me in a different room. The second room was only slightly better than the first one. Peeling paint, dead bugs, and stains in the sheets are just normal fare here, apparently. In all, this place should be closed and fully renovated for the health and safety of its guests.

Couch had multiple tears and was old, extremely loud from people upstairs, no AC, no ironing board or iron and also had a wet dog smell in the room. Not worth the $172 plus $20 dog deposit that was paid. Highly disappointed

We recently stayed here and to be honest there were only 2 positive things I can share: 1) front desk lady who checked us in upon arrival was very nice and welcoming 2) Parking right outside your door! Don't expect "hot" breakfast I guess unless you like "biscuits" that actually turn into legitimate front desk DOG BISCUITS (they are hard and difficult to cut through) gravy was offered. NO toast, bagels, muffins etc. 2 apples were left when we arrived to eat our 1st day - saw 2 gentlemen who had scrambled eggs delivered to them at a lobby table on our way out, but we never were offered nor was there anything showing this was available to everyone. There was milk but no cereal and the 2nd morning I went to pour myself a glass of OJ and there was literal "sludge" build up on the plastic pitcher tab that I felt compelled to remove it all! We left and went to Little Brown Hen cafe for breakfast. I enjoy a simple continental breakfast and one would expect if there are eggs being made that it be communicated and most importantly offered. Having NO breads of any sort is ridiculous. A toaster and some cream cheese and jams and cold cereal should be expected. This was simply the worst breakfast offering(s) we have ever encountered. Lastly, it would be nice if they swept and raked up the property. Clearly there is no maintenance outside and on the exterior (dire need of painting) This place could be so charming...

Location near old town and dining awesome. Bed was comfortable. This place is not well maintained and is pretty dirty: mildew in shower, dusty with dirt stains throughout the room. Very cluttered in common areas, a bit like staying in your great grandmas place. Ok option if nothing else is available in town but be ready to look past the limited housekeeping efforts and maintenance.

I really wanted to like this property. And still do a bit, but due to the lack of comfort with the King bed I just can’t. And a few mother issues: our door that leads into the hallway, couldn’t be opened, just stuck. The owner, super nice and helpful gentleman said yeah it sticks just kick it and it’ll open. Problem is it opens inward to the room so can’t “kick it’… Back to The bed, lying down you’re slumped in the mattress with minimal support. I’ll Say that I have issues with my back but, Most Mattresses will work and be acceptable for resting. This one, nope. The proprietor I dealt with was super helpful, friendly, and available but I believe the entire property needs a refresh, especially the showers…I was afraid of taking one without my shower shoes. I still give this 3 stars out of courtesy and thankfulness for having a super economical place to stay one night. The property has potential, but needs ally of work and refurbishing (and cleaning). We were thinking about another night, and looked at each other and said naw, the bed…

Didn’t like how dirty covered in cobweb's around door. They have chair to sit outside by door but it’s so not kept up. Really disappointed. Would have loved to sit outside. The room was cute. Didn’t like the no fan in bathroom made it very muggy and couldn’t keep window open people could see in. And the curtain was sheer and the street light shined in. The bed felt like you were on your head. Clean room that was nice.
