Grandvrio was an excellent resort in Da Nang. I was deciding between this resort and the Hyatt Regency, and I am glad I picked Grandvrio. The staff are very attentive to all needs. Welcome drinks and checkout drinks were provided, complimentary. Food was very good with several dining options. Spa services were also great. 200K VND vouchers given for use at the property, which had beach access with shaded areas. Staff spoke English well and were very respectful to guests.
I visited the Hyatt for a wedding I had to attend. The property was beautiful, but was very large and lacked the close feel of Grandvrio. I got the feel this is more of a local’s resort, if you are looking for that vibe.

All staff are polite and helpful, however my shower stand was dirty with mildew and stand was slippery the first night when we arrived. The room was very basic and dated. Massage was very good though. The resort is out of no where and need an update.

Nice place, great hospitality and excellent food. The beach, pool, restaurants and gym were beautiful. I especially enjoyed the Japanese style big bath and sauna at the end of the day.
However the stores and neighbors around the hotel were awkward. Some facilities including the main building are out date.
So it wasn’t quite top notch resort.

The outdoors are beautiful. The room extremely large and had a balcony with nice view.
I really enjoyed the breakfast in the coconut forest with the sea view.
The food in the evening though was not great (we had a pizza). This could be improved for a hotel with this standing.

All of the staff members were very kind and well-educated. They always kept the hotel clean. I had a very cozy stay at the beach resort. The food was nice, and the breakfast was especially awesome. The massage and spa staff were also kind and skilled. I think the Japanese-style bath might be even cleaner than those at Japanese hotels.

Each and every single member of staff were fantastic who provided a quality service.
Ambience is spot on.We had villa with a pool and it was absolute perfection.
In terms of any negative points I would say that children should not be allowed in the adult swimming pool given they have one dedicated to them.Secondly,there is no room service after 9.pm and there are no bar facilities after 10pm.In keeping with other hotels of a similar standard the should be a bar available until at least 12pm.

We stayed at the Grandvrio as part of a 4 day stay in the Danang area, with 2 days in Hoi An proper and 2 days here at the Grandvrio. In retrospect, given how relatively inexpensive it is to get from the beachfront Grandvrio into Hoi An, I would say I probably would opt to stay the entire time at the Grandvrio if we were to return. Put simply, as a beachfront resort, this property checks all boxes.
The facilities are new and modern, with multiple dining options, a kids pool, and arguably the best, deepest, nicest main hotel pool I have experienced. Better than the pictures. Just beyond the pool, a strand of palms and hammocks leads to a lovely private beach. This is also where they serve the included breakfast (made-to order eggs, pastries, fresh fruit). Our 10 yr old son was very excited that they had a basketball court, and our daughter loved the playground.
The staff here is wonderful and extremely attentive.
We were welcomed with cocktails and cold towels at check-in, and the staff gathers at the front door to see you off at check-out.
Would stay at this property again, no question.
