The rooms were nice but a little tired. I had to park on the street….not enough parking out back in lot….

This hotel is located near the ferry to Maine. It’s the only reason to spend a night in this town. On Sunday almost everything is closed. The town is clean, safe with a pretty harbor.

This is a fine property and can be recommended. Not much within walking distance except a Tim Hortons.

Drop off area was good, parking limited, we had to park on side street. Check in was easy, all staff were courteous and friendly throughout our stay. We ate at both restaurants and the food and selections were good, our room needed many updates. Insufficient room in bathroom, missing towel bar, small counter area. Good water pressure, sufficient hot water. Beds were comfortable, sufficient pillows. Need to update lamps, especially for reading. Plenty of drawer space/desk space. The biggest complaint was the air conditioner. It was extremely loud, compressor sounded like an airplane taking off and seemed to run continuously, which made sufficient sleeping an issue. Fresh spring water available in lobby 24 hrs. Due to needed updates and air conditioning issue we gave it a 3 star.

The afternoon/evening front desk clerk was amazing. We had double booked and she fixed it. $200 saved

I really liked their Restaurant. The food was really good, the daily specials were reasonably priced and the servers were very friendly. It was easy to check in and out. Front desk staff were friendly. They also offered a green option where you could choose not to have your room serviced. They were happy to bring extra coffee and towels if needed.

Walk to downtown, good staff, clean. Two small concerns; Breakfast should have been included for the price and the pool should be open early for exercise. However, these are small concerns. I would recommend this hotel.

It was clean and comfortable, staff was pleasant and efficient.

The hotel is a bit older, could use a few updates, overall a good stay. Room was clean and staff helpful, upgrades to the mattresses is needed very soon. Downtown was quaint by nice, enjoyed a beer one night and a coffee the next day in town.

The Rodd was a great location. We caught the ferry in the AM. Everything seemed old and worn, but it met our needs for the night.

Convenient to ferry and Main St stores. Helpful staff.

The property was currently under renovation outside, but not really an issue. Inside was clean, clear and wonderful. Staff was helpful and courteous. Would consider returning in the future.

Construction on the exterior and lack of parking, granted they were really busy. Rooms: beds were great and sheets clean and really comfortable and the staff were really friendly

Room was fine and it is a great location to the Ferry. Hallway was smelly, but room was clean. Staff in the evening was unusually unfriendly.

We were not able to reach the hotel before it was too late. We had to walk into a place. I called to inform the desk that we would not be arriving. I was too tired to continue driving and it was getting late and raining very hard at times. We did not stay t this hotel.

Good location to the ferry and waterfront. Clean property overall. Efficient, friendly staff. Hotel restaurant is convenient.

Front desk staff were attentive and friendly. Check in was easy and fast. Room was large and clean but furnishings and hotel in general was a bit dated. Location right in town is perfect and a big plus.
