The hotel offers a convenient location near the Metro to visit the Smithsonian tourist locations. However, the expensive $65 a day parking rate makes me think twice about staying there again..

I absolutely hate the fact that while they promote that they have WiFi at the hotel, they make you pay for it.

Property was much more updated than expected. We enjoyed the convenience of walking everywhere.

Loved my stay here for work. Everyone was helpful and kind. I'll definitely be back. The only thing i didn't like was not being to switch the bus tour with another option.

Nice location and friendly staff the view from the window and decor felt like I was in a concrete box.

The rooms and service were as advertised, excellent.

Upgrading to the Club Room was the best money we spent.

Great location!!!

I was quite disappointed with several aspects of our recent stay at the Marriott Metro in Washington, DC. First and foremost, the valet parking experience was frustrating. Although my car was brought out promptly when we checked out, the area was chaotic due to multiple guests arriving at once. We were stuck and unable to leave for quite a while. A cab driver even became aggressive with us, and unfortunately, the valet staff did nothing to help manage the situation or assist us in exiting safely. It did not feel like a service worth paying for. Additionally, there was no body wash in our bathroom, and despite requesting it, I never received any during our stay. Lastly, the food quality at the hotel restaurant left much to be desired — it simply didn’t meet the standard I expected from a Marriott property. I hope management takes these comments seriously to improve the overall guest experience.

What I like the most about this Marriott metro dc hotel room, hallway and lobby is that it is clean! I have stayed in other hotels that the cleanliness is questionable. The noises coming from the hallway into our room was quite annoying. There is a gap between the bottom of the door and the carpet and we were able to hear all the commotion outside on the hall when people are talking walking or running. I am not sure if there is a reason for that gap. I slept with my noise cancellations headset on afterwards. The king room comes with a sofabed in case you are travelling with a child with you. I will stay again.
