This is a fun and unique boat hotel near centre of Stockholm.

We stayed two nights in different rooms with a family of four. It is convenient to the docks for the Fjord tours. The first room had four beds which were nice. The second room had two beds from pullout couches which were uncomfortable and then the bathtub leaked all the water onto the bathroom floor. It was a rough morning getting a bad night's rest and dealing with a lot of water on the floor. The breakfast was good both mornings.

This hotel is very conveniently located just 10 minutes walk from bus station and 10 minutes walk to the city centre and ferry terminal. The room was a bit small, but it is common for hotels in Norway. My room was facing a street with traffic, but it was not bad with closed windows. The breakfast selection was excellent.

great location. room too small when visited as family of 4 - fall ceiling looks good but takes away head room on one side of the room/bed.

I wish there was AC. As a minimum, the hotel should supply all rooms with fans as a standard so you do not have to ask the staff and wait till one becomes available. Breakfast is great and staff is wonderfull.

Property was clean. Breakfast had good variety. A lot of hotels in Norway don't have AC. There was a heat wave when we were there but unfortunately, the hotel ran out of fans so the temperature in the room at night was barely survivable. We were at the back of the hotel and our room was overlooking a courtyard of an adjacent apartment building housing students. The students were very noisy during the weekend.

The staff here were fantastic. So friendly and helpful. Breakfast was always fresh with plenty of choice. It is very conveniently located. The bus station, shops, Bryggen and the Floibanen funicular are all within a 10 to 15 minute walk. The rooms are a little dated but this is a minor issue. We had everything we needed and enjoyed our stay.

My room was clean and comfortable, however it was hot. The hotel was on a busy street and the windows would only open about 3 inches, there was a lot of noise from traffic and people.

Good location for public transport. Room was adequate for a short stay, could benefit from Aircon but accept that our stay was during exceptionally hot weather. Breakfast was exceptional!

It was hot and very loud at night do to street noise and bar karaoke until 3am so my family got very little sleep. Property nice and excellent breakfast.

Great rooms, great location in the center of the city, outstanding breakfast with all Norwegian specialties, including brown cheese, blackcurrant jam, salmon, porridge. Always cold water. and croissants available in the lobby. Came during warmest part of the year, so was a little warm in the rooms without air conditioner with just open window

Scandic Byparken is in a great location and it was very easy to find and to get to the center of Bergen. The only reason I'm not giving more stars is that the pictures for the Family Room for four had a double and 2 single beds which I assumed was standard for these rooms and when we arrived we had a double bed and a sofa bed which my two teenagers weren't very impressed with. Luckily it was very warm so one teenager slept on top of the their duvet on the floor. I should have asked to change rooms at the time, but everyone had already started unpacking so I didn't.
