The property had a major issue and cancelled my reservation. The issue occurred hours before I arrived however I was not notified that I wouldn't be able to stay at the hotel until I arrived. I was forced to wander the streets at midnight looking for another hotel with immediate availability. I had to bill a very expensive room to my employer and now have to submit a detailed explanation for why I exceeded my travel budget to my manager. This could have been avoided if the hotel had communicated the issue earlier in the day.

From check-in to check-out; from the lobby to the room, all was 5 STAR. All staff I interacted with were excellent. Location also awesome. Absolutely would stay again!!

No pool, no ice machines, no free hotel breakfast like most hotels offer. Did not communicate the correct price of the room

2nd time staying here. I booked through Hotels.com..I honestly feel like I would get a better room location if booked with the hotel directly. My first room was nice but the view was the worst, all pipes and building mechanisms. This time I got a room on the 1st floor and my view was a brick wall. I didnt ask to be switched, I just dealt with it.The front desk staff was very nice and helpful.

Child at GWU. Second time here. Small hotel, great location (close to Mall and Georgetown in nice area). Pretty hotel, clean. Bathroom paint bubbled but I think bc small and likely too much condensation from shower. Personally prefer to larger chains in area. Easier to get in and out

Large suites, friendly staff, convenient location

we stayed 3 nights and had no cleaning service. I didn’t mind no clean linens etc but was surprised that a hotel like this wouldn’t at least send someone in to get rid of trash, make bed, etc. Also the lighting system was extremely confusing and we had to stumble around in the dark to find switches. There appeared to be no master switch, nor did the wall switches work. That being said, in every other way our stay was great.

Beautiful historic hotel and very friendly and helpful staff. Our suite was really nice and comfortable.

Nice hotel in convenient locations the rooms are a little worn, but the beds are generally comfortable. The lobby area is very nice. Great staff.

Excellent staff. Valet parking was efficient and professional. Front desk was gracious, welcoming and professional. Response to request for new iron in room was very quick and staff who delivered it was professional and friendly.

Loved the historic property. Service was great. Near amazing Georgetown too

Quarto espaçoso mas o hotel precisa uma modernização. A internet praticamente não funcionou no meu quarto, o serviço de arrumação diária tem que ser solicitado diariamente, o quarto é escuro e tivemos o azar de ter uma barata no banheiro. Não foi ruim mas acho que existam opções melhores.

The property was adequate but it did not go above and beyond. There was no bellperson to assist with luggage, and there wasn’t a door person who gives a sense of security at a city property.
