Disappointing Stay at La Quinta **Aged Facilities and Safety Concerns** The hotel's age and lack of renovation are noticeable, but it's the safety concerns that are the most pressing issue. We checked in on Friday and on our Sunday night stay, at least six cars were broken into, with one truck having all its windows smashed out and its contents scattered across the parking lot. This is unacceptable and a major concern for any traveler. **Staff Awareness and Lack of Action** While the staff was friendly and accommodating, it's clear that they are aware of the issue and take steps to cover it up quickly. By 9 am on Monday morning, after all the cops and evidence of the broken glass was gone. However, we noticed broken car window glass and empty beer bottles on the way to our car every morning beforehand, suggesting that this is a recurring problem. The solution to this problem is straightforward: installing surveillance cameras and a patrolling security guard would go a long way in deterring future incidents. Unfortunately, it appears that the hotel is not taking adequate steps to address this issue, leaving guests' cars vulnerable to theft, even in front of the reception area. We checked into another hotel across the highway, less than 0.1 miles away, and were not the only guests to do so due to the safety concerns at La Quinta. This should give you an idea of the level of concern among travelers. Based on our experience, I would not recommend, pictures are misleading

First night as I went to shower, there were tiny roaches in the tub and on the bathroom floor, was a huge hunk of someone's hair. The second day, the shower did not work and had to take a sponge bath. For the money I paid for the second night as I used points the first night, was not worth the price.

Staff are nice. Only 2 machines work even there is 6 floors. The room is clean but it look old, need improvement.

The place was dirty and needed upkeep. It’s an old hotel. Cleaning walls and fixing broken doors would be great. My room was decent, the bathroom needed to be updated the door needs to be replaced. Otherwise the night staff was nice.

Romeo at the front desk was so polite, helpful and courteous. I haven’t seen this type of customer service in years. The beds were comfortable and the unit was very clean.

Property is great for the price and convenient to everything in the area. The only bummer was that one night about eight cars in the parking lots were broken into, and I asked where the security guard was, and was told they don't have one on the premises. That didn't seem okay to me.

The rooms were not clean they stink like old smoke house the carpet felt damp when you walked on it the room was damp all the time especially if you’re turning the air down there was serval cars broken into one on daytime sonn m e people windows were busted out just horrible this is not a place I would ever stay again.the ladies at the front desk Lesa there were very friendly and helpful with places too go.the Ladie on nights complained how she dose not feel safe sometimes just the pool area was terrible bad experience overall.

There where about 10 card broken into. There are cameras, but no one is watching them. If so I would.think they would have called cops while it was happening. We got small papers that they where aware of the break ins on our windshields. We stay on the 2nd floor , same as the check in desk. We had people playing loud music, talking loud in the hallways till sometime after 1am. Leaving for a medical apt to see your car window shattered and car ransacked, just puts a bad taste in your mouth.

Great location with friendly staff! The property however is in need of a facelift. The 5th floor hallway was dark and the elevator was quite dirty. My room was spacious but well worn. No room safe

I definitely wouldn’t stay here again. We had gotten a non smoking room with a king bed for me my husband and 3yr old and the moment we entered the room there was a heavy cigarette smell so we let them know before settling in, they gave us another room but I’m pretty sure that one was smaller than our original room. We found a live roach and a few other bugs throughout our stay.

Super bad experience. My car and more than 6 other guests had ours vandalized. The windows on the passenger side were broken, and the hotel didn't take responsibility for the damages. They told me it wasn't the first time the owner or the manager had done anything about it. It's normal for them, and they hide behind the excuse that they signed a document stating that they are responsible if something happens.

My vehicle was vandalized. A window was broken out. I think the hotel has security cameras but no outside security guards. According to what I was told 11 vehicles were vandalized. Travelers beware.

Clean and quiet. Huge rooms with coffee maker and a microwave. Friendly and helpful staff. Especially appreciated the ability to use my Netflix account with the room’s television system. Also walking distance (10-15 minutes) to public transportation and near a CVS a Trader Joe’s and several restaurants. Breakfast buffet was plentiful and relaxed. Only small negative was that this is a pet-friendly chain, and the room definitely smelled as though a pet had stayed there recently (so be warned if you have allergies), but overall an exceedingly positive stay.
