The Warwick is located in the Rittenhouse Square area, making it accessible for using public transportation or walking to the various landmarks in the city or University of Pennsylvania. The hotel staff was extremely nice and helpful. The hotel itself needs some love and attention. The room we stayed in needs painting, the plumbing both toilet and tub drained slowly. The carpet in the room was very worn and imbedded with dirt. The gym is very well equipped but several pieces of equipment were out of order. There are signs in the lobby indicating that there are renovations planned for 2026. I hope they keep the ambiance but upgrade the worn parts of this fine hotel.

The carpet was stain , dusty and soiled. The legs in the bathroom sink were severely rusted. The door leading to the bath had a thick layer of dust on the trim. The furnishings were wuite shabby and dated.

This property was not good value for spend. The deluxe room had peeling paint, dilapidated furniture, broken phone, A/C that seemed to be "feast or famine" despite hot August evening, no exhaust fan in bathroom/shower. I could go on and on. Frankly, I found myself looking at the hotel across the street and wishing I had booked that one instead. And I'm usually generous in reviews

We enjoyed our stay at the Warwick and its great location downtown. All hotel staff were accessible and helpful, with a special shout out to bellman Steve, who went out of his way to facilitate holding our luggage after checkout and delivering it to our car.

This property is in need of work. The staff was great- friendly, helpful, and professional. The room was a 'suite', but was missing furniture where a desk or sofa should be. the door would not lock and the night lock was broken. The furniture that was in the room was extremely worn out and belonged in a Goodwill store.

Staffing shortages and renovations may be impacting this hotel at this time. We were happy with our stay overall, but the wait time for service was longer than I expect. Also the room shortage caused for using rooms that were not on par with the location, but at least the rooms were clean. In our rooms, we did not have garbage cans or working lights in one of the bathrooms.

Horrible stay at the Warwick, which is now trying to be a Marriott. It started with a phone call to tell the hotel we would be late by possibly a day because of a cancelled flight. After about an hour and a half of trying to get in contact with them I finally got through. We arrived the next day around 2pm to be told our room wasn't ready. But we prepaid for our room, and we were a day late, so what happened to our room? The staff was baffled. Also, I found out why I had so much trouble getting a hold of them the day before, when the phone rings too much they just take the phones off the hook. Excellent customer service. So we come back to the hotel around 5pm, to find our room still wan't ready, and now there was a line of people who also had rooms that weren't ready. "Everyone calm down," was all the receptionist would tell us. Now the room... lackluster. The bed was hard, the carpet was old, the bathroom was very small. No mini-bar, no complementary water, the shower had bar soap and cheap shampoo and conditioner. This hotel wants to be a Marriott, has the logo up in the lobby, but don't be fooled. The customer service alone wouldn't stand up to the service you get at a Motel 6. Stay elsewhere if you can!

Extremely disappointing experience room booked with hotels.com showed up at the hotel to check in and told that they were overbooked waited three hours for them to accommodate in another hotel unsuccessfully. Six other families were waiting were forced to look for a hotel walking the streets of Philadelphia at 1 AM in the morning.looking for a room Hotel manager was completely dismissive of the episode and spoke to her the next day blaming it on the transition to Marriott

The Hotel is undergoing renovation. Rooms were furnished with old furniture. Waste baskets lacked plastic bags. PLEASE WAIT UNTIL MARRIOTT COMPLETES THE RENOVATIONS.

This truly is a beautiful property in a great location. The staff at the hotel were all extremely friendly and helpful. Easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, sight seeing experiences etc., would highly recommend. This hotel will be our first choice whenever we return to Philadelphia.
