LOVED everything about our stay. But Heads-up for budgeting.... no free parking. Valet only at $55/night.

Looks like this place hasn’t been updated since it was built. Room stunk like smoke from the fire place. Shower handles were falling apart. Restaurant and Valet was not very polite.

The staff at the Kimpton Hotwl was amazing, helping us with parking, restaurants and everything else with charm and grace. They attended to our every need. The location of the hotwl allowed us to walk an incredible loop down the river on one side and then back on another.

Beautiful hotel, excellent staff, service and food! The beds were some of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on!

This Kimpton could use a spiff-up. The carpeting, upholstery and furnishings in the rooms and restaurant are tired. The restaurant menu is limited. And while being on the river is quiet and peaceful, the location is not easily walkable to downtown Portland.

We had a nice relaxing comfortable time at this hotel. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Quiet and peaceful. We had beautiful views of the river and the city in the suite we were in.

Beautiful hotel with an excellent location. Rooms are a good size and the river view is wonderful. Shower was looking a little rough, our sink leaked, curtain had a hole in it, spider webs on the windows. Still beautiful though. Service at the restaurant in the hotel was slow all three times we were there, even though they weren’t crowded.

Enjoying a quick get away and lovely room. Quick walk to Dough Zone one of our favorite places. Walking around was safe at night and beautiful.

The room had a soiled rag smell that was strong, and the restaurant was limited in menu options. Also, I wasn’t informed of a $20.00 refund on my bill until checkout.

I take this opportunity to comment on Hotels.com listing. Parking was included in our package at a most reasoable rate for such a great room. However, the fact that this hotel only offers Valet parking was not noted. This should be noted in the listing, as it impacts luggage/packing choices. The hotel staff and property were great. The Hotels.com listing could have been better.

The staff and accommodations were exceptional.Breakfast in the morning was delicious.
