Amazing time!

Lovely part of Fitzrovia, great staff and hotel, super quiet and nice toiletries

Comfortable hotel in a great location. Our room had recently been refurbished which was great. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Vanessa on reception was great and made sure my wife's kindle was returned to us after we left it behind.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location is incredibly convenient — close to everything yet tucked away enough to feel safe and quiet. I felt very comfortable walking around the area, even in the evenings, which was a big plus. The customer service was outstanding from start to finish. Every staff member I interacted with was friendly, professional, and eager to help. They really made me feel welcome and taken care of. The amenities were also excellent. Great AC which as we’ve learned you should not take for granted in Europe! I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a safe, convenient place to stay with great service and all the amenities you could need. I look forward to coming back!

It was great , only the wifi was no good in fifth floor

Upshot: Friendly staff but I would not stay here again. The hotel is in a wonderful area, but the rooms themselves and property are very outdated, and small, even the king suite. Depending on the floor and room its all a bit musty smelling. I do like that it all feels like you’re on a cruise ship. Big recommendation: if you have a room with a tub/shower be EXTREMELY CAREFUL. They have a nonslip mat in there that somehow makes it more slippery unless it is 100% suctioned down when it’s dry, and no soap present. My mom put it down to be careful because of the weird height of the tub, and ended up slipping because of the mat. She hit her face and ended up in the ER for most of the day and got a nasty black eye. The staff was very responsive and they gave us a reimbursement for the cab to the hospital, and as soon as they could then downgraded the room size to one that had a walk in shower. If I were them I would have been refunding a LOT more than that. They offered us some free drinks at the bar. To a woman that had just gotten a concussion they offered a solution of free drinks.

It was a late booking so had little choice on room and it was a little stuffy. However this is more than compensated for by the amazing staff, so happy and helpful.

Was my fourth time at the Rathbone and perfect as the previous ones!

The staff were friendly and efficient. We had a problem with no heat. It was fixed later the same evening. The room was comfortable and very quiet. There was some minor construction nearby that was not an issue. I expected more space for the price but it was acceptable and the location was great. We were happy we chose it.

The property is situated in a quiet area, the reception is spacious and pleasant. The restaurant has a calm ambiance. The rooms are beautifully clean.

Hotel is charming and staff is most accommodating. We didn’t have a phone in our room and though it was reported the first day of a weeks visit, we never got one. We had a suite which was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast bar was very nice and much more varied than many.

Staff made the stay enjoyable.

Very nice hotel with pleasant and responsive staff. In Fitzrovia area of London - lots of restaurants, cafes and independent shops around. The problem is the construction: they are renovating the building next door and possibly using part of the hotel (north corridor) to move workers and materials around. Despite the staff assurances that construction is from 10 to 5 ish daily, the banging and hammering usually starts at 8 30 am Monday to Saturday and goes to 4 30 or 5 pm. Don't plan to nap or sleep in the hotel during the day. I was on 4th floor and seriously thought of changing hotels but the surrounding ones of equal quality were booked. I hope for the sake of future travellers this construction will be over soon as it is a major pain in the ass and can be heard on at least the top 2 floors. I was not warned of the construction on booking - it was an unpleasant surprise. Otherwise the hotel is clean, has bigger rooms and great service. Call before you go to verify if construction still ongoing. Bill Macheras Toronto

Very clean and tidy, staff were very friendly. It was my partners birthday and they provided a free massive balloon, a bottle of Prosecco and a bar of chocolate. Couldn’t be happier with the service
