Fabulous resort loved all of it

As returning guests over the years, it's truly disheartening to witness the steady decline of what was once a stunning resort. The rooms are in a poor state - our toilet and shower head didn’t work properly, and the dated shower-in-bathtub setup feels far below standard. The timber walkways around the pool are rotting, the air conditioning barely functioned, and the service was mediocre at best. Coming from the hospitality industry myself, it’s clear the owners are simply cashing in without reinvesting in the property. For the rates they're charging, guests deserve far better. It’s a shame to see such a beautiful estate falling into neglect.

We had a great time. We loved all of the pool areas such a beautiful ambiance . Staff was quick to assist and we will be back again.

They are charging 3 times more for mediocre services and cleaning, the pool area where we were staying was extremely dirty. The location where rooms are is very inconvenient. Food at restaurants is average and you pay a fortune.

We had a great stay. There are fantastic lagoon pools and surrounds although for someone who like the water around 26-27 degrees they were a bit cool. Room was a decent size. Bathroom towels were in short supply with multiple requests required from us to get some during our stay. Strangely the toilet seat was like it was a leftover from a primary school as it was way too small for the actual toilet.

My Wife and I had a very enjoyable stay at the Grand Sheraton Mirage Port Douglas. The staff were amazing, the facilities were amazing and the buffet breakfast was fantastic. We would definitely stay there again.

An absolutely beautiful stay, pools need a paint but thats reaching for a negative. We will be back in a heartbeat. Travelled to many parts of the world but this place wow.

A few complaints. No shop for snacks. They want you to use overpriced minibar in room. Charged me for 5 persons for breakfast instead of 4 and argued with me about the extra person that did not exist. Shower floor was slippery. But in general was nice and was happy until check out when the manager disputed charge for breakfast

It was great

Great stay for a large family group. Really wonderful staff at every corner of the property. Comfortable large rooms, good food, amazing pool options, right on the beach. It is really nice for families and groups, plenty of places to 'meet up'. Only cons was it is missing a little kids play area (seems like it should have one) and the day spa is independent so you couldn't get Marriott points or room charge at the spa.

My boyfriend and I had the most incredible stay at Sheraton Port Douglas. We couldn’t get over the pools, easy beach access, stunning golf course and gorgeous day spa. The room was spacious and had everything we need including a large bathtub! Highly recommend staying at this beautiful resort, you won’t regret it!

Unique decor, lovely space. Excellent location, wakable to many attractions. The staff I interacted with Esa and Jimmy always went above and beyond with their service. Made us feel at home and well cared for. Only downside was the noise from the street at night. Not anything the hotel can affect as it is a street of restos and bars. Regardless I would stay there again and highly recommend.

Swim up pool room is a waste of money. More like a cold swamp then a swim up pool.

Amazing hotel , great swimming pools and great gardens . Clean spacious room . Amazing shower . Wonderful breakfast and dinner
