A short ride-share trip from Legoland, which was the reason we chose this hotel. Off the main road, it is very quiet. The staff was very friendly, room was clean and comfortable, but a couple of irritating things. We parked on the north side of the parking area against the tall bushes. When we came out the next morning, they had shed a lot of stuff on our car; stuff that was kinda sticky and didn't blow off just by driving. Avoid the tall bushes. Also the room's sink area had a motion switch which sounds great, but in the middle of the night if you need to use the bathroom, the light clicks on and burns your eyeballs out. Just a small nightlight would have been nicer. And also you can't have the closet doors and bathroom door open at the same time. And we had to turn on all the lights in the room to get enough light. All small annoyances; I would still stay here again.

Wish i had more time to enjoy everything but the stay was great.

Well the hotel laundry cuaght on fire the hotel was evacuated for over 2 hours. My son and i where very excited to go to legoland the following day but due to his asthma and all the smoke he inhaled durring the fire he had an asthma attack and we had to come home missing out on legoland. I feel so badly for him .

Good stay for business meetings.

Hotel staff was great. Room smelled upon entry but was fine once air was on. The motion light by the sink is so annoying recommend replacing go on when u don’t and turns off when you don’t want.

Why?

I chose this hotel bc I've had great experiences w Marriott—all brands/ levels. Despite stellar reviews for this particular one, I was sorely disappointed. The room was “pretty clean” but the room felt so gloomy and blah. The telephone for our room didn’t work, I kept getting “this extension cannot be reached” for every button I dialed. I finally had to look up the hotel number and call the front desk to get more towels delivered to the room while juggling kids in the bathroom. The walls are paper thin, we heard conversations on both sides of the room and my kids couldn’t sleep until almost midnight. Lo and behold 4:30am the person in the room above us started walking around (which they absolutely should be able to do) but we heard every creak from each footstep, every flush, and could even time exactly how long they were in the shower. Unreal that a Courtyard Marriott would have such thin floors and walls. The things we liked were (most) of the staff—very friendly except for a couple that couldn’t be bothered to give more than one word answers. The location of was also in a good, quiet area which made me feel safe while traveling w kids and was close to Legoland. For the $300+ price tag however, will not be returning for a bare bones experience.

Great place

Check in was friendly and quick. The room was clean and the bed comfy. I’d give 4/5 stars because the room had a funky smell (couldn’t quite place what it was but it was noticeable and annoying) and the shower leaked water into the floor so it soaked the mat after one shower. However, I would stay again if I’m in the area — and just request a different room if it had the same smell.
