I had a lovely stay at this small but charming hotel in Barcelona. The rooms were very clean and well maintained, and the staff were always friendly, helpful, and welcoming, and lovely selection at breakfast. The hotel is located on a busy street, which adds to the lively atmosphere, and it's within walking distance to many key attractions. One standout feature is the rooftop terrace it's a small but lovely space that guests should definitely take advantage of, especially for a quiet moment. One thing to note is that it's quite close to the cathedral where the bells chime throughout the night. While this isn't the hotel's fault, light sleepers should bring earplugs and this shouldn’t be a problem. Overall, a great stay with excellent service in a vibrant part of the city!

Loved our stay at Hotel Gotico! Location was excellent, close to transportation and other tourist sites were in walking distance. The air conditioning was a life saver during the heat wave - we came back to the room a couple times during the day to cool down from the heat and it was perfect. Staff was very friendly and helpful - would definitely stay again!

Great location, friendly and helpful staff. Clean comfortable room, room cleaned each day with clean towels provided too. Breakfast was amazing, had everything you could want. We took a night time flight - staff were happy to look after our bags until we were ready to leave for airport and let us use facilities until then. Great price too. Would definitely stay there if we visited Barcelona again

Helpful and friendly staff. Hotel is suitably located to all forms of transportation and most top restaurants and attractions are easily walkable!

Great location and very safe—we were able to explore everything by foot. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, which made our stay even better. The only downside was the cleaning, as we expected the bathroom to be cleaned more thoroughly each day. Otherwise, a wonderful hotel and would recommend.

Loved everything about this hotel. Everything is literally around this hotel, whether you want to see the Cathedral de Barcelona, which is literally a 2 minute walk straight ahead of the hotel's entrance, or whether you want to go to the Rambla's down the street. Food everywhere in each corner and even infront of the hotel. Absolutely would recommend to stay here if visiting Barcelona and want to stay in the Gothic Quarters. Also, pretty cheap as well.

Very good hotel in an excellent location for central Barca. Staff, without exception, friendly and helpful. Decent breakfast. Be aware that "room service" comes from outside by motorbike, not from the hotel, and in our case did not arrive in the alloted half hour slot. As it was 11.30pm by then, he was sent away without payment and delivery rejected.

Excellent hotel right in the gothic quarter. The staff was very nice and accommodating. I would stay here again.

Front desk staff were helpful with directions and places to eat. However the one restaurant they suggested was extremely over priced and I would suggest they do not recommend again. The restaurant name was Carta Cadaques. We ordered the seafood paella which was 32 euros/person, and was pitiful with respect to the fact that you could count the pieces of fish (per person) on 1 hand. Very disappointed. I would never recommend this restaurant.

Beautiful hotel in a perfect location. Surrounded by traditional & more modern bars & restaurants. Friendly front of house staff. There was a fridge in the room so we could keep water & drinks cold.

Great innocuous hotel. Easy check-in and our rooms were ready before the posted check in time. The staff was courteous, informative and very helpful. We would not hesitate to stay here again!
