The hotel is completely outdated basic rooms for the price in need of a complete overhaul A/c was not adequate breakfast was ok

Good hotel excellent staff but surroundings a bit sketchy

The good points were the daily cleaning and bed-making service was good and I liked the cube storage. Also, reception gave us good recommendations for excellent French food. However, the first room we were assigned had not been cleaned and we found glass on the floor of the second room. The bathroom 'tiles' needed cleaning of the pretend grouting. We could not get an evening meal in the restaurant as it was only for a pre-booked group. There was no bottled water or kettle in the room. The mattresses are foam and killed my back. My first experience of an Ibis and not one I wish to repeat - I hate to think what the Budget Ibis is like.

Very good value for the money. The receptionist was extremely helpful and showed us a secure spot for our van under video surveillance. There was quite a strong odour from the hallway carpets, but the room, though small, was clean and comfortable. The location was excellent, just a few minutes walk into centre ville. I would stay here again if in Le Puy.

A comfortable stop over in a good location, near the town centre. Having the parking was very useful.

Friendly, professional staff. They have a double locked area in their garage for storing bicycles. The restaurant serves OK food if you're too tired to venture out.

The hotel serves the purpose for which it is designed. There is a little car park around the back. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was quite small but okay. I don't think I' want to stay there for more than a night or two. It was noisy at the front of the hotel. Closing the windows cut out the noise but I like to sleep with the windows open. The breakfast was nice with a good choice. It is a short walk to the town centre.

Good location for staying in semi-luxurious surroundings before starting a long hike down the Chemin du Puy. Do be advised that there are prominently posted signs in the lobby and elevator banning "outside food" from the rooms. I don't know if this is in response to a problem they had or if it's just an effort to force more business to the restaurant in the lobby. Other than that, it's a perfectly serviceable, standard Ibis location.

Well situated in town centre and with parking. Dog friendly. Room adequate but towels very thin and we were charged €7 for a bottle of water
