Beautiful beach front property with activities within walking distance. Boating, snorkeling, fishing, restaurants and bars are all right outside the hotel. Great experience!

I love this villa I have been there several times already, is quiet, friendly staff and very very clean. The beach is calm and steps away from villa. This last time we check in after 3, only 1 out of 3 rooms were available, we got the keys about 2 hrs later. I understand this may have been an isolated situation, I am planning to go back. Great place to stay

Villa Mexicanas was perfect for my husband and myself. We stayed in the Garden Area which has 2 smaller pools available to use besides using the beach pool. The service people were super and prompt. There is no store on site but a small grocery is very close by as well as a number of restaurants. The beach is clean and the lounge chairs comfortable.

Based on the price, I thought this hotel was too good to be true. Don't believe it. The location is perfect, with the beach right out your door. The grounds are clean and well-kept. They provide beach towels (make sure you hang on to them to return at the end of your stay), and water coolers are throughout the property. Multiple restaurants are within walking distance. I highly recommend this restaurant and hope to be back!

It is an old hotel, so for what it is, it’s not bad. Very good area. Very safe. Staff was great and friendly. If it was a little cheaper it would’ve been 5 stars. I just think the hotel needs an update. But the beaches are amazing. No complaints. People around the area are also very friendly.

A gem of a hotel, right on the beach on the beautiful Playa la Ropa. Many dining options close by and easy to get into old town if you are looking for something a little different.

You can’t beat Villa Mexicana’s location- steps to the beach-easy walking to a variety of on beach restaurants too. The staff is professional, helpful and extremely personable! Our 7th visit!

Excellent location on the beach. Very good restaurant attached to hotel. Property is dated but was clean and comfortable. Would stay again.
