Some of the staff should be trained on customer service and making people feel welcome at the hotel. The window blinds of our rooms window wasn't working and we had a difficult time getting sleep in the morning due to this. When I told them about this the manage on shift on the morning of 8/31 told me that we are aware about it will work on it. When I asked if I can expect it to be fixed today, she said "well yes, thats what this is for" pointing to the piece of paper that had written all the rooms that needed service. Is this the kind of communication we should expect?
Overall, its a decent hotel, customer service is not at the standard I'd expect a Mariotte hotel, but other than that its a pretty decent hotel for a budget stay.
