good location

We had high hopes for this hotel but were let down several times. This is a great location to stay for a night or two pre-cruise. The Barcelona cruise terminals are a five minute cab ride. That's about the only plus for this hotel. The check in was slow, the service was slow and frankly the staff was not that friendly. Sergio was great. He was the one bright spot in the staff. Room service food is bland. All of the above pales in comparison to the "Superior" room we booked. Asthetically the room was nice but it was so hot!! Both days that room was like an oven. Nothing like trying to recover from jet lag in a room that feels like an air fryer. It was awful. My wife is always cold and she thought it was hot. That's saying something. There are several other problems with this hotel but I'll leave it at that. I'll be at the W next time before a cruise .

4.5 euros for small bottle of water at bar Dirty floor in room View of world trade centre...not mentioned I selected a premier room for the balcony, however balcony was full of cigarette butts stuffed between the tiles Shower gel not replenished Tired furniture Water / shower gel and coffee not replenished in room until our last day This is NOT a 5 star hotel

The hotel in itself was quite costly. It advertised a whirlpool tub which we were told at check-in that they were all being serviced and none were available. We asked where we could find an ice machine and was told that they did not have any however, we could contact room service and a charge would be applied to the room. Finally there was not one single USB port we asked if there was an adaptor to allow us to charge relevant appliances and after two hours of waiting we went down to reception again where the team advised housekeeping would be straight up . After a further two hours we walked to the nearest electrical store and purchased the relevant adaptor. I have never given a poor review however. for the price being charged I feel that the basic amenities should be available and basic customer service should be offered.

Great location, friendly staff, and reasonably priced. This is the second time I’ve stayed at this hotel and overall I am very satisfied with my experience. There are however two things that I believe need to be pointed out. First, check in is at 3pm. There simply is no other option so if you arrive on an early flight or your travels find you at the hotel a little before 3pm do not bother attempting to get into a room before 3pm because it simply won’t happen! Second, this hotel does not seem to have anyone willing or wanting to address rather noisy guests. Loud guests/music in rooms seemed to be something nobody wanted to handle.

Great location close to the port - check in is not very fast or efficient but the team is very nice. The hotel rooms are nice and the pool area is nice!

Our bathtub was dirty. Our daughter was injured by the pool and bleeding and no one had a bandaid or first aid kit. Very disappointed

Great location, easily walkable to La Rambla. Close to cruise port.

Excellent stay, the rooms are very light and spacious and have the most amazing views across the city and the port. The breakfast is fabulous!!

Bed was terrible

Great location! Fantastic sized rooms and incredible views of harbour. Couple of minor things we needed and staff were helpful and prompt in helping us. Would absolutely stay here again.

Excellent location.

Restaurant service was slow. Pool needs to have a railing to access going up and down stairs.

Stayed here for cruise day ahead of departure. Hotel is near pier, hop on buses to see Barcelona. We ate in the tapas/bar restaurant. I was excellent, drinks were delicious.
