The hotel is built like a village with a number of swimming pools and seating areas. The Club section is adult only with its own breakfast area, pool and sun lounging area. There is a gym, spa and squash courts but one can easily run along the prom.

Lovely hotel with great amenities and excellent location. The room was excellent and had a selection of great pools and bars/restaurants. The Marina is a 1 minute walk away and has amazing shops/bars/restaurants. All the staff were friendly and were happy to help with anything. The breakfast buffet had an excellent selection of food and drinks and the quality was very good. The only one slight bad point was the bed mattress was very hard. We would definitely visit again if going back to the Island.

The hotel was amazing, friendly staff that couldn’t do more for you, clean, however the dinner options were limited, not much variety, however breakfast was delicious and offered a wide variety of food

Im sure the hotel would have been a nice experience ,staff friendly but unfortunately we wasn't told about the pool being closed, which was the main thing that attracted us to the hotel, im not sure if that is down to the listing on expedia or the hotel itself. Hence the review.

Excellent location overlooking the bay and back drop of the mountains. Great staff and breakfast. disappointed with diner choices . Labeling of menu could be helpful with more english translation at the restaurant.

The staff were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The hotel itself is beautiful—immaculately clean and thoughtfully maintained. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of great options to choose from. We stayed here to celebrate our graduation, and to our delight, the team even left a special surprise in our room—it truly made our stay extra memorable. Thank you for everything! We had a fantastic time and can’t wait to come back.

If you are booking this hotel you must note that the main pool is out of use this summer. I was unaware of this until I checked in which was very disappointing. I would recommend only staying here if you want a hotel as a base. If you want to relax around the pool, the pools that are open are not relaxing due to being dominated by small children and quite crowded.

Truly a wonderful place to stay! Staff cannot do enough, rooms are so clean & spacious, food is plentiful and delicious! Stones throw from harbour and seafront walk to sandy beaches and azure blue sea - what more could you want!!

Lovely hotel. Stayed in the club level. Staff are really friendly . Worth paying the extra for the adult only club section . Great location in the marina but a pleasant 20 min flat walk along the prom to the centre of Playa Blanca

The pool are was a bit run down in places(tiles in the pool and around the pool missing and paint chipping in many places by quite a bit around the pool areas). Rooms were good and also public areas. Lacked a bit of atmosphere. Surprisingly quiet for Easter half term. Location great for eating out and shops. Sun loungers not the most comfortable. Rubbish around the pool areas. More like a 4 star than 5 in my opinion.

The staff were all so lovely, polite and helpful. Breakfast was amazing. So much choice and always fresh. Heated pools meant that the kids stayed in there all day long. Could not hear any noise at night and the bed so comfortable we slept so good. If we go back to Lanzarote we will stay here again for sure!

Amazing hotel with great service. Great restaurant and pool areas. Ideally located in the centre of the marina which has some amazing restaurants.

The Volcan is a lovely resort with very good staff and service. I gave it only four stars for several reasons. The food was very bland and boring and we ate in the restaurant at night just twice in 11 nights. Apparently there was another restaurant on site but it was closed. Fortunately we were at the Marina with lots of food options and ate there the rest of the time. We had Breakfast there, but no fresh strawberries, Raspberries or Blueberries. The fruit was very repetitious. There were poached eggs offered once and never saw any again. The cold fruit and cereal area got squeezed into a small buffet when there was obviously a big influx of European’s expected,as the cold meat and cheese offerings were spread out with lots of room where the fruit had been. There was no nice bar to come back to for a nightcap for a quiet drink. The only option was the room they had the entertainment in and we went in on our first night and it was like we were in God’s waiting room. Purple light and a weird atmosphere. Silence and everyone on their phones. That was enough for us. Had our own nightcap in our room. The outside areas with pools is great but getting a little run down in need of some repairs and painting. There was peeling paint on the floors in a number of places. On the plus side, our room was spotlessly clean and the housekeeping staff were amazing. Would I go back, maybe, but probably not. Too many other places in the world to visit.

Friendly, welcoming and efficient staff made our stay a pleasure. The Volcan Club area (adults only) was ideal for us, quiet, with a great pool area with bar. Our room was perfect with a good seating area and a sea view across to Fuerteventura. Fabulous breakfast, afternoon tea, and an evening bar were all excellent.

Fantastic hotel and well located next to the marina. Would definitely stay again.

We love this hotel and return often. The hotel appears to retain staff, always a good sign, they are helpful and friendly. Rooms and surrounding areas are spotless. Good quality food but we would like to see a better choice for lunch, soup, sandwiches, baguettes. Evening entertainment is varied and good. There’s a great choice of bars and restaurants within 10 minute walk.
