We have stayed at this Ritz before (handful of years ago) and I remember liking it so we stayed again. The lobby/lounge area is beautiful but our room was in the far tower by the spa elevator (room # started with ‘E’) and it was beyond dated. I felt like we were in a Hampton in with a nicer bed. So basic and very dated. Not luxurious at all. I hate to even say this because the staff was nice but it was just a somewhat depressing experiencing. We won’t be staying there again. Over priced for what it was and just a let down.

Excellent as expected with a Ritz Carlton. The service is exceptional. Will be returning soon.

Stay was great. Staff very accommodating.

Very helpful and accommodating staff, from guiding us to our room to dealing with our clunky U-Haul without batting an eye to giving us late checkout without a hitch and then extending our stay an extra day because we didn’t want to leave the crackling lobby fire and cozy vibe.

Staff was great and attentive. We spent the wkd with family celebrating a birthday. It was a great stay.

Excellent personnel; outdated rooms.

Hotel needs a major renovation - feels more like a Marriott Courtyard than a $1,000 a night Ritz Carlton! Also called hotel around 5pm specifically to let them know we're checking in late around 10:30, to make certain the room is set up for 3 guests (2 adults 1 child) and to ensure we have a roll away bed, enough towels and water... towel and water were added, but no extra bed!!! had to deal with this late at night!

The Ritz in Georgetown is inviting and sophisticated. Beds are comfortable; staff is wonderful from the doormen to front desk to housekeeping. Relaxing areas throughout the hotel for socializing. I like the location just a short walk to the waterfront, M St and Georgetown.

Check in with Axel was amazing. The room was incredible! The amenities and atmosphere were exactly what you want from the Ritz. We will certainly be back

I recently stayed at The Ritz-Carlton Georgetown in Washington, D.C., and it was an exceptional experience. The staff provided outstanding service, ensuring every detail was perfect. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and offered stunning views. The hotel's amenities, including the fitness center and on-site dining, were top-notch. The location was ideal, close to major attractions. Overall, it was a memorable stay, and I highly recommend The Ritz-Carlton Georgetown for anyone visiting D.C.

Lovely hotel, great staff. A little hard to find

Nice spot. Good service.

Overall it was a good hotel, the staff were courteous and there for you to help. The room was spacious. I only had one issue on lack of calrity about breakfast situation. I got the breakfast included option and when I got there they said it covers up to $60. When I got the bill later they charged me full amount, so I called and they said it only covers up to $30 and they would fix it. Lack of consistency and clarity is the reason I give them 4 stars and not 5
