I had a wonderful stay at Anantara Marbella. The hotel itself is stunning, with beautiful architecture and excellent views that made my stay truly relaxing. The food was delicious, and the service throughout my stay was outstanding. There is also shuttle service to the beach club, and the ride was short and pleasant. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and I would highly recommend this hotel.

There were some good things, but the service wasn't acceptable. Having to pay for parking when there is so much space, that's just taking advantage. Only inner-city hotels need to do that. And being charged 95 euros for my friend to use the sauna for 10 minutes also isn't acceptable. I ordered breakfast 3 times and it was wrong 3 times.

Amazingly beautiful Hotel. Staff is also very nice. Shuttle takes you to their beach club, which has a great restaurant on site. Distance to Puerto Banus is about 15 min. We loved everything about the hotel. We stayed with kids 7 nights and didn’t want to leave! Truly a 5 star experience

Overall the hotel and spa are fabulous. Service was also outstanding. My only issues were Wifi and TV-related - did not get a connection in the villas. I called several times for help but it was not resolved. It is also difficult to get to your room after hours - many of the doors are locked and it becomes like a maze trying to get to your room. If you are using the gym after hours, you end up on the street and can only get back on the property through the front door. But, definitely stay here - and use the spa and eat breakfast!

Unknown to us we had chosen a particularly busy weekend to stay so the hotel was noisier than usual and we couldn't get on the golf course even though we'd tried to pre-book several weeks before. However the breakfast was excellent, the Sushi restaurant didn't disappoint and the spa was still one of the best I've visited in Spain!

Everything was great. Great hotel, great staff, amazing facilities. However one small complaint. As a Expedia Gold Member, I was entitled to some perks which I never received even though I reminded the concierge multiple times. It was also my honeymoon and I had told the property multiple times. However, nothing extra or complimentary was given apart from one small dessert.

The place, design

We visited the hotel to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Nice hotel however our five day stay was cut short after one day due to my wife’s parents being in a serious road traffic accident which meant we had to leave and return home. We did ask the hotel if we could move the remainder of our stay to a later date, out of peak their season, rather than waste the €2500 we had paid. The answer was an abrupt no it is non cancelable there is no flexibility! They even charged us €30 for the valet parking even though they had had €2500 for one nights stay!! Not sure they are A Leading Hotel Of the World more a very unsympathetic hardline hotel of the world with no flexibility! Sadly my wife’s parents passed away in the accident not that the hotel would give a dam!

We had an amazing room. The property is wonderful and the staff so friendly, professional, helpful and knowledgeable. We fabulous place to stay.

We spent a weekend at Villa Padierna. We were upgraded to a junior suite with terrace which was very spacious. The weather wasn’t fantastic but it was pleasant enough to have breakfast the terrace of La Loggia restaurant on both days. This was of an excellent quality with plenty of choice. Staff are courteous and helpful. We had dinner one night at la Pergola. All our courses were beautifully presented but we found that the choice of mains was rather limited. The spa is well kept and very peaceful. Overall a very relaxing weekend.

Great territory, amazing pool, good service
