Lovely stay! The private beach and free shuttle to the City are the selling points of this place. Enjoyed our stay.

I loved the view.

They don't care about there customers safety this hotel allow there driver to touch woman when they say stop touching them and this is not the driver first time they are aware of his behavior.

When we first got to the property, after the hotel arranged for a Mercedes Van to pick us up from the train station. The back doors are wide open in the lobby. You feel like you’re about to walk out into the clouds. This hotel is a boutique hotel that is spacious and clean. The breakfast was lovely and overlooking the Amalfi coast was dream like. The staff was kind and attentive. They have their own private beach with free shuttles to the beach and town center. We loved our experience so much we plan on returning! One of the highlights of our trip! Use the public ferry’s to get to Positano (a must see) and other neighboring towns for only 10 euros per person- a cab ride is 140 euros to Positano from the hotel. The rooms were clean/spacious but the beds and bedding could be softer. Still we would highly recommend!

Perfect hotel

We recently stayed for the 8 days during our honeymoon and this was a perfect stay! We loved the hotel and the shuttle was great for getting to and from the city centre and private beach club. The drivers were so great and fun! Breakfast was fresh and delicious everyday and the view every morning was beautiful! The beach club was a really nice perk and it was great to be able to visit, service was awesome and they make a great Aperol Spritz! The room was clean and again, the view was just beautiful and we loved our stay. We didn’t want to leave! Rebecca the front desk attendant for most of our stay had great recommendations for dinner in the Amalfi centre and was so helpful during our first night with a great dinner recommendation and helped set up a ride for us as we had such a long travel day. Overall an absolutely beautiful hotel and stay, further up from the city centre but worth it for the view!

Really enjoyed my stay! Peaceful hotel, beautiful pool, gorgeous view (like unheard of!). Also the bartender Guiseppe made fantastic drinks and good company! I’m glad I stayed here while in Amalfi! Also I loved the drive service to the family restaurants higher up the mountain! Delicious!!

We loved staying at the excelsior the it had an amazing view and rooms were huge and very clean and felt at home. The shuttle service was fantastic as if you like walking the Aldi Center is about 30min walk down steps… Maurizio and Antonio the drivers were so friendly and can’t thank them enough! We had the best time. Thank you. Xxx

It was impeccably clean and the staff was so attentive and friendly. Totally recommend this hotel.

Our experience was very nice here. The property in some places is showing its age but we stayed in a newly renovated room( although many are not remodeled yet). The shuttle service was very consistent and convenient and their private beach club is what makes this hotel special, although the elevator down to the beach didn't work well and we had to walk back up the many stairs back up to road level. Food was decent. Pool is older and not super clean but you have the beach. Staff was very nice and helpful.

Unbelievable hotel, prime location on the hill side and only a 10 minute (max) shuttle ride into the town centre (or private beach) which is totally free and every 15 minutes both ways. The views are without a doubt the best in Amalfi. The staff are fantastic and super attentive. We would come back in a heartbeat and miss it already.

A absolute MUST stay in Amalfi. I’ve been once before and found this hotel last minute and it exceeded ALL expectations! Location: I was hesitant at first as being in the hills can be challenging to get around however, the shuttle service they offered was really easy and 10 mins to the Amalfi town centre. Also, the view from every part of the grounds and our room was absolutely breathtaking all hours of the day. Room: Updated and brand new inside the rooms. The rooms come with a tablet that allows you to book the shuttle, order room service, etc. Amenities: The daily breakfast offered a wide range of delicious food. Had dinner once (on our last night) and it was quick and was very good. The private beach club was very convenient and the shuttle takes you directly there. The cost of food/drinks was very reasonable for being such an isolated gorgeous location. Staff: beyond professional and VERY attentive. They remembered our names and made the entire experience very memorable. Overall, we will be coming back to this hotel hands down.

The hotel and the view was incredibly beautiful. The rooms were very nice, but the staff wasn’t nice at all.

Really happy with the hotel. The shuttle to and from the city centre was a big plus. The breakfast buffet was outstanding. Special shout out to Giuseppe. He mixes a great Bloody Mary. The rooms are a bit dated but very comfortable. Nice balconies. Great view.

Gorgeous views and nice pool area. Variety offered at breakfast was great. Bartending and wait staff very friendly. There is no where you can walk to so you have to rely on the shuttle and we couldn’t always get a ride when we wanted it.

Great hotel, with beautiful views and stunning pool
