Ged our check in host organised our Checkin as we has multiple needs. Parking and shuttle To the airport in the morning. Easily organised with a smile and a joke in his pocket. The only thing that let our stay down was the air con not working in our room. On arrival we weren't informed of any issue, on opening our room we stepped into a very hot room with 3 fans going full blast - despite the work around the room was too hot and our it made our son feel poorly

Lovely property but the air con was unfortunately not working so the rooms were very hot. Our request to have adjacent rooms couldn’t be accommodated. We also had an issue with lights not working on one of our rooms. I thought the staff did a fantastic job in despite of very difficult circumstances. Teething troubles but being honest about the air con on check in or an offer of discount would have been appreciated.

Had to pay £15 to park the car in their car park. The hotel is soulless. The air con is ridiculously high. As are the restaurant prices. Won’t be staying at a Holiday Inn again.

What a horrible night in what was meant to be a simple stay. Our check in was lovely as was the entire team on site. The room had no AC even though it was advertised, and even worse no windows that opened??!!. The small fan in the room and the portable AC unit that was delivered did absolutely nothing to cool us down. Slept maybe 2 hours combined due to this. While the team was great, when you’d call reception on your phone you’d be directed to a main hub NOT in the hotel who couldn’t help with anything. What a headache the chain has introduced. Going downstairs was the only way to get assistance - they did everything they could to help make the portable AC work but it just didn’t let up.

Chosen due to its proximity to airport with an early check-in. Family room had excellent size double bed, but very small 'sofa bed'. Aircon not working, instead 3 fans and 2 mobile units in room that did nothing to cool the room, and it was near impossible to sleep in such extreme temperature. Windows coukd not be opened even a small amount. The fire exit door was left open all night, no doubt to try and get some cool air in the building which is no doubt a security risk if not a health and safety risk.

The Air con was not working in the room so good if you like saunas. Bad if you like being hydrated. £15 a night parking which is shocking.

All Staff were very friendly and polite and efficient. The bed could have been more comfortable for me, but that is a personal preference. All clean and tidy and easily accessible to Bristol Airport.

Air conditioning in room ineffective. TV didn’t work and they couldn’t fix it. WiFi didn’t connect , error message said too many people using the system, eventually connected properly late evening. No mention of parking charge until we checked in. Hotel adequate for a 1 night stay but not good as a holiday base.

Lovely refurbishment but all the windows are sealed units so no fresh air in the room. The a/c is underpowered and the additional cooling unit supplied was noisy. Quite an uncomfortable night.

After coming off a very late flight from Bristol Airport, I was very tired and the staff quickly checked me in and everything is so easy. Fantastic shower, good tea offerings and plenty of water. The bed was very comfortable and it is quiet outside.

I have inadvertently booked the Bristol Airport hotel and arrived at 7.30pm asking whether it would be possible to transfer. The Deputy Manager ('DM'), spent around 1.5 hours resolving the issue and I confirmed the same with Hotels.com [regrettably there is no way of accessing the chat). When I arrived at Bristol Central at around 9.30 I was told there was no record of me and despite calling other local sites that remained the case. I spoke with the Airport's night receptionist who denied I had been there, said the DM was off shift, said there was no record of me and I should cancel. I worried I would receive a charge and he accepted this was likely. I asked the airport hotel receptionist to get DM to call me when she was back on shift. He didn't. I have to pay for a fresh booking instead. Reception at Central was brilliant, giving me a complimentary drink as she could see I was exhausted. I then set up a chat with Hotels.com (who seemed unable to confirm the situation) and screen grabbed the conversation. Happily I was told I would not be charged. I called the DM who was lovely and reassured me she would make sure Hotels.com did not charge me and apologized for the confusion. The Hotel room was neat, with towels, coffees etc changed daily, though I found belongings from a former guest in my room so am not sure the cleaning is too thorough. Staff were attentive and very friendly. I would stay again but the system between Hotels.com & the hotel needs simplifying
