Slept so good because it was EXCEPTIONALLY clean! WELL MAINTAINED! All the space in room 212 was a treat compared to most hotels these days. No stuffiness or bad smells. Just clean and comfortable. We will be back to Emory for appointments and will always always always book a room at The University Inn. I’m dreading a day there may not be a room available. We got the last one this time! A side note is that we got there after midnight and the staff were easy to reach and got us checked in efficiently and kindly. The to go breakfast was clean and set up at 7am. They had hearty boiled eggs in prepackaged to go as well as yogurt, make your own quick oatmeal, prepackaged muffin/pastries, fruit cups, milk, granola bars, juice, & maybe another thing or two I’m forgetting. Good enough for us. Very pleased with this place.

The staff was fantastic. The rooms need updating. They are old and out of style. The mattresses were uncomfortable. The air was leaking so the rug was wet. I was to reiterate though the staff was great. Very friendly and helpful.

Clean and spacious room. Clean towels. Very friendly staff. Quiet environment. Functional refrigerator and microwave. Availability of drinking water at the lobby. One of the beds is creaky and it hurt myd husband's lumbar. Breakfast should include fruit Would be great if grab and go breakfast included fruits

Convenient hotel to tour Emory University. Undergraduate admission is a 12 minute walk. Very convenient location. Good for one night stop.

The room smelled musty. I did travel with a small dog and was designated a pet friendly room, however, it seems that the rug needs a deep cleaning. Also found the parking fee unnecessary.

This is my second time staying at the University Inn. The University Inn is very convenient for me when I visit my child at Emory. The staff is welcoming and pleasant. The rooms are clean and the staff will accommodate towards your need. I will use it again!

Perfect location

Property is old and outdated. Beds were uncomfortable and smelled like grandmas house. Loved the location and proximity to Emory. Staff was 5 star.

We genuinely loved this hotel! It was quiet and clean with spacious rooms and comfortable beds. Perfect for our trip to Atlanta! Front desk staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Hopefully the next time we visit the pool will be ready and open. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Such a nice place. The rooms are SPACIOUS. It is an older hotel but they have worked hard to keep it up to date.

The location can't be beat. Its walking distance to Emory campus. The rooms need to be updated.

Check in process went very smooth. Pre-check in questions helped to make our stay more comfortable. We were placed away from traffic noises and that was very thoughtful.

Good location to where I was attending a conference at Emory although there . Decent bed. The other bed made a creaking noise so I didn’t choose it. The air conditioner was very noisy. I couldn’t get captions on the TV. The room had a smell. Couldn’t figure it out.

Wonderful quaint inn right next to Emory hospital where I was picking up my son. Service was excellent.

We had a good time. Clise to Emory University for the Special Olympics meet. Very nice staff.

Saw multiple roaches in the room. Holes in ceiling closet. Everything in the room felt old. Air conditioner was dirty and unclean. The exterior and interior need some massive upgrades because this looked like a rundown motel. Also the breakfast was not good at all. It's some grab and go. The staff were ok but when asking questions they changed their attitude. The pool didn't have any chairs. Wasps were in multiple parts of the walkways. I had to check out early and I could say more but I wanna keep this review somewhat short. Whoever reads this, do yourself a favor and pay a little extra for a better hotel.

Very conveniently located and staff was very friendly and helpful. Only complaint was it looked as though there were some spots of hair and dirt of some sort on the wall in the bathroom when we arrived. Everything else was perfect!
