The room was so light at night as there is a light on the balcony outside and no curtains to close.

This little hotel was a great surprise for a last minute stay. Was very clean and the bed I had was very good, room 15. The late night staff could have been a little nicer. Property description said they spoke English, that was not the case. Morning staff was little rude when I walked around the lobby, because my stay did not include the breakfast. However they did make up for it with an expression. Other than that I would recommend if you are staying in Chantilly.

Nice area and the room was suitable enough. However the temperature control for my room did not work, and there was a clear lack of amenities such as a mini fridge and cupboards. Additionally, expedia mentioned contacting the hotel about arranging a shuttle service, and they do not have a shuttle service and just told us to use uber ourselves.

Was booked for a 5 night stay in November. Stayed one night and checked out. Bathroom was dirty, hair in the tub and walls, floors had dirt in the corners. Room had cockroaches on the walls and in the bathroom climbing the shower curtains. Overall just gross.

Rooms are basic but very comfortable and clean. Friendly staff too. But evening meal was very bad. Only two choices of a hot meal, both with rice which was supposed to be hot but was tepid to cold. Not happy with the meal but everything else was great.

Helpful staff. Run down condition of paths, stairs and some facilities in room - air con and hairdryer didn't seem to work, but not needed. Convenient bar and restaurant, but food not particularly good for the price. Convenient position just out of the town and not far from the enormous commercial centre at St Maximim.

This is like a US motel from the 60s but in France. The grounds and exterior are in a state of disrepair with dangerously cracked and broken sidewalks to get to rooms at the rear and peeling paint. The first room we were offered at the quiet rear of the building had a non-functioning heater. The second room at the front faced a busy street and an outdoor carwash that was often noisy. The room had a nightstand on only one side of the bed and only one chair unlike the first room with the broken heater which had two of each. There were no drapes to block out the light. There was a strange metal screen that had to be hand-cranked down and allowed in light through many small holes. Breakfast was inadequate with no eggs, not even hardboiled. The staff were friendly and tried to be accommodating within the limits of the facilities. Others might find Campanile Chantilly accepteable. We would not return there.

Very disappointed, worst restaurant meal in France, and over priced, very old furnishings in room, had to climb difficult outside stairs, and for an older person, very hard, shower head had leak straight out on the side, sink in bathroom did not drain, odd cupboard and storage area,... very hard bed, only 1 thin pillow each...

The tiny room (two twin beds pushed together)was clean but the pillows were flat and no hand towels or wash cloths. We intended to have the continental breakfast for 9 euro, but when we checked out the buffet there was little food left - No bread for toast, no eggs, no meat. We left without eating. The motel is too far from town to walk, so they have you at there mercy for meals if you don't have a car. Thankfully, we did! Fantastic restaurants in town.

You get what you pay for here - the Campanile in Chantilly is much cheaper the other "fancy" hotels in the area and offers a good sized, clean room which is ideal for a business trip. Staff are efficient, though always busy - check in and out is quick. WiFi speed is diabolical though.

Ok for a no frills hotel? However dining is always a disappointment. No wonder we got the 2012 Olympics if food is bad like this in Paris. Ordering my meal..... 'Are you ready to order?' 'Yes, can I have the salmon?' 'No, sorry, the salmon is off tonight' 'OK do you have another fish?' 'Yes we have sole' 'OK, can I have salad?' 'Sorry salad is off tonight' 'OK, can I have ratatouille? and can I have a beer to drink?' 'Yes the Ratatouille is OK, but the beer is off tonight' This is a hotel? Really? The last time I stayed I had a steak which would have been the worst I had ever eaten - except that I couldn't eat it since it was so tough. I had maybe two mouthfuls but even the steak knife could not cut it. I wanted to complain but there were no staff in the restaurant as they were obviously understaffed and busy. I waited over 20 minutes during which I ate the fries and salad but left the steak. When the waitress eventually came she noted I had not eaten the steak and offered something else but of course it was now too late. I offered to pay for the fries and salad but not the steak and was told that it was not an option as I had to either eat it or pay for it since I had ordered it. To be fair to the staff at the hotel, the waitress is also the barmaid and the reception. Maybe this is why is it not too expensive? I only stay here when there is no alternative. I have low expectations here and sometimes they achieve my expectations - sometimes unfortunately not.
