The decor now seems dated and tired. I had also paid extra for a king sized bed which the staff confirmed as the monies had been received. However, the room had not been saved and only doubles or a family room was available. The extra money I had paid was refunded but that’s not really the point, I did not get what I had reserved.

The hotel is in desperate need of a refurbishment . The rooms are tired and quite shabby

Nice hotel, built for golf course

Stayed for 2 nights to attend a family wedding at nearby venue. Rooms were comfortable enough for what we needed. Bed very comfortable and rooms were very clean. Had enjoyable swim in the pool and gym is well equipped. Beautiful golf course on site. Drinks reasonably priced although service was a bit slow at the bar. Didn't eat in the bar but food looked good. Buffet style breakfast was nice. Lots of choice available to eat while enjoying the view of the golf course. Hotel was what you would expect for the reasonable price we paid. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely touch with a birthday card and wine in the room. Excellent value with dinner, bed and breakfast inclusive with lots of options! Brucey bonus that we shared the hotel with the England women rugby team!

Great place to stay leisure facilities a bit busy, but food was needing a new chef. Staff front of house and barf we’re nothing but helpful stayed 4 weeks consecutively

4 star for Staverton, 1 star for Expedia. American businesses that extract the cost of your stay 6 months before you arrive ain’t getting anymore of my business.

Good place to stop over while on a work trip. Food was good and bar was a nice environment. Bed was comfortable and was able to do some work at the desk in the room!

Stayed for 2 nights and I guess the hotel was super busy as the room we had clearly hadn't have been used for a while with the amount of cobwebs and spiders in it. Wasnt very clean and the walls had marks all over them. For what you would think is a upper class, posh golf club from the amount of emails I had stating this I was disappointed. Room window is locked so you cant get any fresh air, no air con just a desk fan. Check in upon arrival was good, bed was comfy and decent breakfast otherwise. Not somewhere I would return but served our needs in the end.

Very disappointed with the service. Rude staff, dog poo outside on the courtyard.

This Hotel is a little gem. Only stayed one night, made to feel welcome all the time I was there. Room excellent clean and tidy, food excellent, facilities pool etc excellent, grounds very well kept. At checkout my 6 year old asked if we could stay, if you want an honest answer ask a 6 year old. Will definitely book here again.

Nice overnight stay. Staff were friendly and breakfast was good. It was busy but the team were keeping things moving and clean Good parking and nice double room

Couldn't fault the cleanliness or service. Breakfast was adequate. Room 140 was a long walk from reception. It was good for getting my steps in but irritating late at night when my key didn't work!

We took my husband here for a surprise for his 60th. We booked 3 rooms and asked for them all to be close to each other. Also booked him a round of golf. Check in was smooth despite there being a queue and a bit of a wait. They kindly took his cake and put it in a fridge for us. 2 rooms ended up being close together but unfortunately the 3rd was on a different floor. There were no beds out for the children but reception quickly rectified that. Also a welcome gift that I added on as an extra was not put in the room until after we checked in which I found a little odd as expected it to be waiting for him. Other than that we had a lovely stay. We went swimming with the kids, ate in the bar as we had the dog but food was good albeit a little limited. Room had a lovely view of the course. We had a lovely time and would happily return. My husband is a simple man who likes what he likes and said this was perfect for him. There was a wedding party staying at the hotel but despite it being so busy the staff were friendly and helpful. Also for the dog, a little blanket is provided in the room for them.

Accommodation was very good with excellent facilities
