To be honest, there wasn’t much to like although it was cheap. Pretty much in an industrial area, the rooms are adequate and clean enough but the Aircon was not up to the job and there were a lot of bugs in my room. When we were there the restaurant Was inoperable and we had to look for somewhere to eat on the industrial estate. I might have been more forgiving if they had rung to tell us this as we were arriving late after a long drive.I won’t be going back.

Comfortable place

Welcoming and helpful check in Room was clean , convenient with parking outside each room Restaurant was cheap and cheerful but main course of duck confit came with about 15 potatoes. Generally a good overnight stay for a quick stop off but the hotel was very tired.

Very convenient for traveling to Spain. Easy to find next to the motorway and plenty of secure parking.

I liked the convenience of own front door. Adjacent car parking very important. Loved restaurant on site and menu. Difficulty in finding hotel ... is always a problem.

I feel like I was ripped off when paying for our evening meal. The bill was for E48.60, we were charge E60.60 " TAX for 2 Persons" ( service charge) Note we could see nothing on the English Menu that a service charge would be taken. We had already tipped the waitress. I believe this is illegal.

Nice stop over, we arrived late and a number was left on the door to call, so we could still gain access, clean plesant hotel.

Breakfast time slot finished at 9am would have preferred 10am as on a holiday break. food costs were expensive for eg for breakfast it was a Buffett menu I had choice of many options, but my partner only required a coffee we were still charged 9.90 euro each? Evening meal options poor, chalk board options bream parcel revolting only ate a mouthful and not very hot! euro 14.90 - chicken fricassee not much taste, watery, only ate a couple of mouthfuls cost euro 14.90 - as so hungry had dessert each at cost another Euro 9.90 - although on a previous evening 1 x cabilaude and 1 x chicken on skewer excellent, couldent eat at the restaurant every night, had to find somewhere elsewhere to eat.

This hotel is tired and in need of renovation. The heating did not work, washbasin badly cracked, inner door could not be closed, black mould in bathroom etc. The hot water was fine. The meal we had was both tasty and well presented (steak) and the staff were friendly. I appreciate not many people use them at this time of year and we may have been alone but this was a poor advert for Camponile

Reasonably quite location but Hotel in need of renovation. TV did not have any English speaking channels. CNN or BBC News 24 would have been nice. Restaurant OK but very limited menu.

Ok for price and location for a stop over, restaurant fine but wine expensive

this was a very brief visit with no time to sample food but all in all I think it was a nice enough place to stay. the staff were friendly and the room was fine. would stay again although its right next to 3 or 4 other hotels.

Usual standard that we expect from Campanile. A liitle tricky to find even with the sat nav.

If you are driving through this area of France this hotel is a good value stop over. The food is fine and the staff are pleasant.

Convenient location. Rooms small and functional but clean. Staff not particularly friendly. We are a family of 6 travelling through France and just needed an overnight stay. Good value through Expedia. Rooms air conditioned (40 degrees, so very welcome), good shutters and quiet. Niort good and worth visiting for evening meal

We stayed for 2 nights. Nice, quiet location with lovely grounds and even a playground for the kids. Great staff and restaurant. Parking lot was locked at night, we had no security concerns. Small rooms but comfortable.
