Staff were great and the hotel is very continently located to the lake. Rooms are very spacious and in good condition. Would recommend.

The rooms are extra massive, overall service was quite warm and friendly. The hotel is in a very quiet area of the city. Proximity to the shopping district was quite convenient.

The lobby is beautiful and the staff is warm and very professional. The rooms are very spacious 1 bedroom flats. Breakfast in the hotel restaurant was very nice in terms of decor, service and food. The only negative comment and why this isn’t a 5 star review is that the room service was surprisingly disappointing. The food itself was cold and the fowl breast was dry and not appetizing.

An upscale experience in a warm comfortable environment . Dining was exquisite. Staff is amazing. Salina is the sweetest welcoming reception. The Young staff were ready to help with every need.

The best suite and bedding I ever had in Europe. Huge for Zurich standards . Extremely friendly staff at the front desk. Breakfast in the room was worth it and delicious. It’s a definitely coming back !

I recently stayed at Alden Hotel, and I must say it was far from the luxury 5-star experience they advertised. This place is actually part of an apartment building in a residential area, and there’s nothing luxurious about it. Our room felt like someone bought a random apartment, furnished it with outdated, mismatched pieces from a flea market, and labeled it as "luxurious." The furniture wasn’t even "vintage" – just old. To make matters worse, the rooms are not soundproof as advertised. We could hear the guests above us, including their kids running and yelling, well into the night—until 3 AM! It made for a very unpleasant and sleepless stay. Overall, I feel misled by the description of this hotel. It does not live up to its claims of luxury, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a true 5-star experience.

Fantastic stay at a lovely property quite convenient for shopping and walking around town. Staff was consistently above and beyond. Appreciate the room upgrade to the executive suite. My only gripe was that the a/c didn’t do much and at night the hotel was so well heated that we had trouble sleeping. If you aren’t used to American a/c cold room sleeping or bust, you won’t have any trouble. However, the bedding, bed, and overall service still made it a lovely stay.
