The staff were friendly and transfers reasonably priced, but the rest was disappointing. Rooms are spacious but far from luxurious. When I asked for English breakfast tea, reception told me to order from room service, €20 for four tea bags!
Also we were only provided with espresso cups in the room, so I had to ask for a proper mug every single day. And if a guest has to ask daily, a true 5-star hotel would notice and automatically replace it after clearing the used one, but not here. Same with an iron: apparently it’s “unsafe” to leave one in the room, so I had to request it daily like a special favor. Breakfast was the same limited spread on repeat, nothing memorable. I also booked with Expedia VIP Access and got absolutely no perks, no upgrade, no welcome drink, nothing. For the price, the experience fell well short of 5-star standards.
