Excellent location on the picturesque high street in Haworth. I had a large, lovely bedroom looking out into the countryside. I enjoyed the breakfast too.

The building itself is beautiful & situated right in the heart of where you need to be for the delights of Haworth, with a stones throw away from a gorgeous pub for dinner. The contact for the hotel is very very poor, right after we booked we’ve never had replies to our questions & upon arrival the phone kept being cut off on us continuing with the stay no one answered the phone nor our messages in time. However we felt the decor & inside whilst would be beautiful if looked after, it is running a little tired & the place could do with a very good deep clean as we found the room a little dirty in areas & some of the carpets were stained through out the building which was a bit off putting. We paid for a nicer room but was put right in the attic of the hotel and the stairs are very narrow and steep which we weren’t aware of and found it hard to carry our case up & tough on our knees. The low beams in the bathroom were also a tad scary when using the bath / loo. We found the bed majorly uncomfortable it was springy and low, we had 3 hours sleep between us & the pillows were atrocious, they were stained, flat, rock hard & the old stuffing was grey and coming out of them. The room was also very cold in the night as the heating didn’t seem to come on for long at all. We found it odd the bar area was opened up all night but there was no one actually there to buy a drink from or any life at all. The breakfast is a nice touch, prompt service & good selection. Needs some improvement.

Overall, a lovely hotel. We stayed for two nights. The room was lovely. Nice four poster bed, the chaise lounge was a little uncomfortable. The 1st night was really good. Given times were required by the hotel staff for breakfast which was really good and prompt. The 2nd night was less relaxing. A large group were staying & we were disturbed during the night, lots of banging, loud voices, heavy feet. Not really what you want when going away as a couple. Particularly without prior warning. When speaking to staff this morning, it was clear they were aware the rest of the guests were together for an event. Although guests are given staggered times for breakfast, the larger group came at the same time today all sitting together. Due to being a family gathering it was a little loud. This morning's breakfast was also less prompt & less variety due to the capacity. The poor waitress tried her best, but being on her own, literally didn't stop moving the whole time. Fresh juices were empty by having so many eating at the same time and weren't refilled. Relatives of the party also arrived although staying elsewhere for their breakfast with their group, meaning although we came down promptly for our slot, we were left waiting for a time. It was just a little loud and being the only guests not part of the group, felt a little uncomfortable personally. It was almost like we were intruding on a private event. It's just perhaps something for management to consider for the future.

Excellent location at bottom of hill in Haworth, well located for shops and museums and walks. . Lovely range of cafes and pubs nearby. Haworth is a fantastic place. Pleasant guest house. In need of updating. Nice decor downstairs and bathroom had been refitted. Linen and towels were ancient, off-white and worn, bedding was lumpy and uncomfortable, plastic plants everywhere. Not really commensurate with the hefty room rate

Absolutely beautiful and charming property. We were warmly greeted upon arrival. The hotel was spotlessly clean and absolutely unique in its quirky decor! Our room was beautiful and cosy with the most comfortable bed and huge bath tub! We had a full English breakfast and there’s also the option of cereals, fruits and yoghurts. We felt so relaxed and comfortable during our stay and would highly recommend the Old Registry to explore the historic and wonderful town of Haworth. It’s situated at the bottom of the cobbled Main Street with just a short walk to restaurants, pubs, cafes and gift shops. Will definitely return.
