The parador is set away from the centre of town in an obviously affluent residential area so is quiet and calm, although it's a short taxi ride to the historic centre. The staff are welcoming, especially at reception, and rooms spacious (although bathroom is small) with balconies. The junior suite is huge. The pool is also huge (and unheated) surrounded by lovely gardens. It is good value for money. The restaurant is good (book ahead, it gets busy when it opens).

Wonderful setting overlooking the city. Helpful staff, comfortable beds and a great breakfast! Ideal stopover during a 500 mile trip across Spain to Lisbon.

Very nice traditional Parador hotel just on northern suburb of the city. Really good gardens and large pool area, which you can’t get in the city centre. Only €10 max to city centre and sights in a taxi, very easy to get taxis in and out.

Great place, a bit outside the main city areas, but I think that is a plus as you get a nice peaceful area to rest and in 10 minute drive you are at the center of everything.

I wish it would have a gym

A beautiful hotel but the reception was cold and condescending. Staff is over worked and under appreciated. The pool and room was wonderful but the overall sense was of a “business in trouble”. I would suggest trimming a few of the aristocratic management and updating the service staff to this century. And…. Restock bathroom and bar daily!!!

Lovely hotel just outside of the city

Gorgeous property with easy parking, which we discovered wasn't the norm in Spain. The a/c was working in our room to battle the summer heat & it cooled off very well. The terrace off our room & its views were incredible. Would definitely recommend to others & return!

Lovely hotel, wonderful view from the hotel terrace. No tea making facilities in room but hotel, cups and spoons provided upon request.

Spacious, quiet, nice views.

We were only staying one night and only booked in that day. The hotel is lovely with great views from the terrace. But it’s a taxi ride to the old town. The hotel booked us a taxi but getting one back proved to be a problem. They were unhelpful when we phoned them and it took at least an hour before a taxi stopped for us. That was the only down side but as the hotel is out of town I think they should have advised us how to pre book our return.
