Great location, comfortable hotel

Le personnel ainsi que le petit déjeuner sont parfaits ! La chaleur accablante a rndu le sommeil un peu difficile car il n’Y a pas d’air climatisé è cet hôtel. Par chance nous avions un ventilateur et nous l’avons placé dans la fenêtre et l’air frais de la nuit nous a permis de passer quand même une bonne nuit. À noter : endroit passant et bruyant pour ceux qui ont le sommeil léger, surtout si votre chambre est sur le devant de l’hôtel, comme nous. Bouchons d’oreilles de mise !

A comfy bed in the heart of Evian for a good price. Would happily stay there again.

It was a charming historic property with a great location. Walk ability to shops, restaurants, and the lake.

Good but beginning to need some refurbishment. Nice rooms, compact but well designed, period furniture showing some wear. Excellent position, very close to underground parking when space is available but difficult if you arrive on a busy afternoon. The hotel offers a discount on the parking but the email was sent too late to take advantage of this. Overall, a good hotel in a good position and very good value. Recommended.

Great little hotel with lovely staff

Hotel Continental is 2 star (French rating), old traditional tourist hotel. So . . .if you like creeking floors, steam heat, cheap towels, noisey street late at night, hard to find on a street with acess and not convenient parking, you like this place. The good news is that it's very centrally located, 5 mins from the Lac, on a street with good shoping, and reasonably priced for Evian.

The room was huge and the bed really comfortable. The hotel just oozed charm! Lovely inside, friendly staff and the great location of Mulhouse outside.

Friendly not a word I would use.... skip the breakfast...

Friendly old style hotel

A pleasant stay in a convenient location. Room was tidy bust sadly the bed was not all that comfy, and a lack of openable windows meant the room got rather hot. Shower was small, and the shower head broken, the whole bathroom was a little on the small size and I’m not a huge person. Value for money, I guess as good, I think I’d be happier paying I little less if I’m honest.

Fantastic hotel! The owner was very accommodating and kind. The triple room that we stayed in was large and perfect for a family of three. The continental breakfast was delicious and cost 8.50 euros per person. The location of the hotel was perfect for visiting Evian - very central and within steps to many restaurants, shops, and bakeries, but also very close to tourist attractions and the lake. Parking was cheap at the Tourism Office across the street. The only tiny issue that we had was a very weak wi-fi signal, but it wasn't a big deal. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay!

Nice hotel. Clean and cozy. Good service by small staff. Very friendly and helpful. I travel a lot for business in the US and Europe and usually choose large brands and 4 star hotels. This time all the hotels in Geneva were fully booked due to a conference. Was not sure what to expect but had a Very positive experience.

Charming little French hotel. Very friendly and accommodating

We had a terrible flight issue on our way to this hotel and Daniella kept in touch with us throughout our flight issues via email and provided us the overnight code and where to find our key in the case we made it to Evian overnight. Sadly, we missed an entire day in this fabulous town but the time we did spend there was great. The staff was so sweet and even comp'd our breakfast one morning because they felt badly about our traveling issues (and it wasn't even their fault!). The hotel is adorably old fashioned but not "old." Bathroom nicely updated. CANNOT beat the location for the price. They also recommended a great crepe restaurant which ended up being one of the best meals we've had on our trip. I'd highly recommend this hotel!
