My family had a wonderful time at Hotel Maximillian! The rooms are clean, well appointed, and the beds are super comfy. The view out the window is picture perfect of beautiful mountains. The location is quiet, with plenty of parking. The restaurant is excellent! We went into town one night and paid twice as much for dinner, and it wasn't nearly delicious as the meals we had in the hotel restaurant. The best part of the hotel is the staff! Everyone is so nice and helpful-especially the owner Gabi. She took lots of time to help us find the most enjoyable things to do in the area (and there are a LOT of things to do!) We had to leave early for the airport our last day, so Gabi even had the kitchen make us sandwiches for the journey for my family. Just the nicest, most thoughtful people! If you like doing outdoorsy things, this is such an amazing area to vacation! And Hotel Maximilian is the perfect place to stay!

Excellent family run hotel. Owner was lovely. Gave us some great tips for places to visit. Restaurant food was superb. All staff were lovely. The whole place is full of character and charm. Our room was lovely and we had a great view from our balcony. Nice touches such as a blanket on each balcony chair in case it goes chilly. We loved the owner. Never seen anyone work so hard. She spoke to every guest every day. Would visit again and recommend.

We were met by friendly staff during our check in. Lots of information and tips on activities. We enjoyed a great breakfast as well. The friendliness didn’t stop there. During our check out, we were also given tips on which way to go to maximize the views during our road trip. Highly recommend to others!

Beautiful views. We could see one of the castles on top of a mountain in one direction and other snow capped Mountain Views from others. Fantastic service. Even restaurant was exceptional. Highly recommended.

Maximillion is just outside Reutte. A perfect alpine spot. There were cows grazing outside our window and kids practicing soccer behind them! Breakfasts and dinners were fantastic with many local choices. We enjoyed the tasteful decor and friendly staff.

A very welcoming hotel, with good advice for activites and a local guest card providing discounts on the cable car and 2hr free access to the swimming baths. The meals in the restaurant were good to excellent. The hotel was easy to find and is well located for car access to a number of attractions. You can walk/hike to a couple of local attractions. The amenity areas in the hotel were comfortable and attractive. Would have liked some flexibility for an early departure to the airport.

Hotel Maximilian is excellent, surrounded by beautiful scenery, very comfortable rooms and unique, Gabriela is a great person and a great host, the food was excellent, I would love to stay there again therefore I highly recommend this hotel.

The staff very absolutely wonderful, very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Great location for doing activities in Germany and Austria.

I stayed because everything else was booked. Overall a good experience if your just looking for a good night sleep and breakfast to send you on your way.

Nicest hotel staff ever! Hotel restaurant was decent Beds were comfortable except for the pillows, which were a little flat. Overall, a hotel that you won't regret staying in.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Maximilian. Friendly staff, hearty Austrian food. The night we were there, a big traditional folkie band played in the courtyard. A bit cheesey, but that's exactly why we enjoyed it! The following morning, when we arrived at breakfast, the staff had laid on a special birthday table with decorations and a candle. A nice touch

We stayed one night. We were welcomed warmly. Food in the evening was very good and service was excellent. Lovely breakfast.

Great place with great service. A must stay if you are hoping around the northern region or Tirol or seeing the castles and fortress of Ehrenburg. The only minus was that you had to pay extra to have wifi in your room. The restaurant was fantastic and the hotel is definitely family run. Kids areas and adult areas as well for convenience. I would stay here again anytime.
