A very nice place to stay, rooms are nice staff were not to helpful to some repairs in the room. Also the property did not have essential medications or an emergency kit to provide.

Outstanding location in the old town close to the main square with free car parking just beyond the ruined castle (if you can find a space - can get very busy!). You should pay for the rooms with views out over the canyon - we were on the top floor and the view was stunning! Very positive that the hotel was dog-friendly and lived up to that, with there being no problem to enter the breakfast area with our labrador. Black tea availability would have been nice at breakfast but otherwise, an excellent spread. The restaurant is also excellent quality though a little pricy by Spanish standards (particularly the wine list but then the Bobal wine we chose was very nice indeed). Highly recommended overall.

Our room had a balcony overlooking the canyon and in all our years of travel we’ve never had a more amazing view from a room balcony. Pay the few extra dollars for the view. It’s worth every penny. The place is clean, and the rooms are nice. The jetted bathtub was wonderful but when you showered water tended to go onto the floor. Lots of shelves and closet space. When we return to Cuenca, we will definitely stay here again. Great value.

The views from this hotel are to die for -- a stunning vista of a natural gorge, medieval walls, the monastery-become-parador across the gorge, and the whole hill town curving down below this hotel. The supplement for the good view and balcony are so worth it! Otherwise a fine hotel in a wonderful setting, even if the breakfast spread was a little disappointing.

The room we had was at the back overlooking the river and monestry. It was clean and comfortable with a nice big bathroom. The only downside for us was no coffee making facilities. The breakfast was in a separate room and very good selection. We didn't try the restaurant called Raff, but ate at the Tempo bar and restaurant food was nice.

The stay had good and bad points. The personal of the hotel was very nice, and the hotel itself is charming. The hotel and the room were very clean. However, I think that we weren't lucky with the room. We paid more to have a room with view, and we ended up with a very small window, at the bottom of the wall. The view was great, but difficult to enjoy... Also, no swimming pool in the hotel as indicated in the listing of the hotel. The swimming pool is at another hotel, hotel which no one gave us the name.

The location is excellent. It is in front of water bridge. I stayed in the room where I could see the bridge. You can directly access to the public parking by the hotel elevator. The breakfast breakfast has a lot of choices and the price is really reasonable. You should try it. If you are tired of Spanish food, then two American fast food restaurants are next to the hotel.

At prime locarion on the main road leading up to the ruins of the city wall from Plaza Mayor. Can walk from here to all main attractions, up or down, from 5 to 20 mins max (new town centre ). Room is reasonably decorated and clean. It was a shame that the in house restaurant -Raff- did not serve dinner until 9pm and did not hv a table without reservation on the one night that I stayed at the hotel. It could use a better hair blow dryer in the bathroom

Stayed in double room with view (304), views were incredible, looking over to San Pablo Monastery and Puente Dr San Pablo bridge. No parking at hotel, you can pay €16+ per night at car park across the road or drive further up go through the arch and there is free parking around there or big car park further up. Hotel in excellent setting for walking around. Area not ideal for wheelchairs or buggies due to steep streets. Loved our stay at this hotel, highly recommend it.

The hotel is in the process of being refurbished and I was given one of the 'old style' rooms. As so many things weren't working, the manager Miguel arranged for me to move to another Hotel (same owners) 100m down the road. This new Hotel was 4* but they held the price to the originally agreed one. The service and the way everything was managed was outstanding. This Hotel will be very nice indeed once it is finished, based on the areas that have already been renovated.

It's a great, cosy hotel right in the historic centre of Cuenca. All sites are easy to reach on foot. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room and bathroom were very clean. There's also a reasonably priced spa and hotel bar with nice views. For those driving, if you drive half a kilometre pass the hotel, there is a large free car park available.
