Everything was clean

The staff were very nice for the most part but the sheets and towels could use some work. Also had construction work going during my stay.

Their ad on the website, was very misleading. The hotel pictures look nothing like real life. It's a pretty known not so good place.

Ice machine broke, soda machine empty and turned off, office wouldn't even give change for machine before we found out machine was empty and turned off, even tho office directed us to the soda machine, laundry room was locked closed and out of order, not even ice bucket in room, no mirror in bathroom, none of the wall outlets worked except for the outlet that the TV was plugged into, holes in walls, no water pressure, even the outside rain drains duct were spraying water out the sides of them, staff at office was rude and cold and ignored anything we asked, room floor was so sticky we had to keep our shoes on!!! Didn't feel safe for my wife due to the other residents they let stay there and the employees, lights didn't work, only bathroom light and closet light, bed sheets and blankets smelled awfull

Want refund really and would like to speak to someone in charge sboug thdd ed wsh i was treated

It’s ok for those in need to stay somewhere in the area and save money. The staff is nice, and there are plenty of places nearby to eat.

The building was old and in the process of being renovated. I was put in a room that was in the middle of renovations and never should have been there. The next day, the mgr/owner called and refunded me the cost of the night's stay for the confusion. I was put in a finished room for the rest of my stay, the WiFi was spotty, but the TV worked, and based on the location and room price, you get what you pay for!! The staff I dealt with were very accomodating as much as they could be.

We recently became homeless due to the 2 hurricanes and we have been staying in hotels and I just want to say that the budget inn has been the best choice of hotels we have stayed at the rooms are very clean and well stocked with shampoo,toilet paper and etc.and the staff are so delightful and nice they seem to really like their jobs if u need something and u ask them they have no problem getting it for u and they don't give u any problems. We stayed at the super8 on 34th St n and we had the worst stay ever our room was dirty our microwave smelled like something was dead in it and nothing worked so I went to the front desk and they said they would send someone up to check it out well we stayed for4 nights and no one came and the room was full of cockroaches so it was time to check out so I looked for a better hotel and they were very expensive so I booked for 2 more nights and they gave me another room so the TV didn't work and no cable so I go let them know and the main manager said I was being rude to her so she throw us off the property with no refund so just to let u know if u want cleanliness and good customer service and a very nice and helpful manager named Mona make sure u come to the Budget Inn at 800 34th St n in st pete and I guarantee u will be very happy and pleased thank you to the staff for all your helpfulness and kindness we will be coming back to stay again

Have stayed here off and on for about 6 months, never any problems. From the front desk to house keeping, they are always very friendly and accommodating!! They know me and what I like and never have any issues. Great place, great people

It was dirty very limited parking space

Requested non smoking, was given a room with smoke smell. Beds were very uncomfortable

The staff was awesome. The owners give the staff little to work with. And still my 50.00 deposit has not been returned. I left the room almost better than I found it. The employees were very helpful in every way they could be with what they have to work with.

Staff was unhelpful regarding anything. Room was not particularly clean at all. Windows broken. Pillows on bed were actually couch pillows with cases double folded. Not recommended.

The price was the lowest in the area, and the maids were friendly, but the condition of the room was one of the worst I've ever stayed in. The bathroom door had been punched through, there were mysterious stains all throughout the room - on the walls, all the furniture and the shower and toilet were not cleaned. There was no comforter but there was a blanket covered in all kinds of stains. The drapery covering the window was shredded. They say you get what you pay for, but if you're staying here you will not get what you pay for; besides you're going to pay extra for the penicillin so just go ahead and spend a bit more to stay in a better place.

You get what you pay for I guess. “Non smoking room” smelled like cigarettes. Not enough pillows, bed felt sticky, room was musty. Didn’t even end up staying the night. Booked another hotel after seeing and smelling the room.
