The room was great and so clean. The bistro had great food and service and best of all, the location was central to everything from the castle to all of the Fringe festival venues

Great experience and welcoming & helpful staff. Very enjoyable breakfast. Inside courtyard is peaceful retreat from city. Quirky architecture means that it does not feel like an identikit chain hotel This is an ideal place to visit the Old Town and a place to stay for University of Edinburgh graduation ceremonies being close to McEwan Hall. Note that no parking on site, though a q park is 5-10 mins walk.

This property is STUNNING. Our room was gorgeous and the staff was very friendly. I will say, it was very pricy but that is what you get when you stay in the tourist hub.

My stay at Hotel du Vin was lovely! I was exhausted from my train journey from London, and the staff was so caring and got me my room right away. Staff remembered my first name throughout my stay, and always greeted me and asked me if I needed anything whenever I walked by the front desk. Great location - I walked A LOT, and was able to walk to all the sights I wanted to see. Close to a lot of yummy food and gelato, as well as shops galore! I recommend getting the included breakfast, it was a peaceful and very tasty way to start the day. Thank you for the amazing stay!
